Hi Jan, reminds me of Folkestone, I was staying at the Grand Burstin, whilst dealing with the death of my partner and use to look out to France and ponder at how close we got to our dream of moving there. It's nice to watch your videos because they are very realistic and it gives a more accurate representation of life in France. It's not all wine and fromage!

Hi Liz, No, I bought that one, it was a little snug at the hips so I decided to put a slit in either side, not that you can see it 🤣 All good thanks, about to go for a walk, you'll see it soon. 😄

Hi Tina ❤ We find it quiet in most places always in France in comparison to UK & Spain but we do tend to avoid crowds 😂 It was a lovely day. 😊 Glad you enjoy our walks, there are more to come 😊

Hi Jan (and Duncan)! What beautiful sandy beaches! There is nothing quite like Atlantic tides! They come rushing in, flooding everything in their path very, quickly - especially if it's windy! I'll bet the surfing is good! Do you know why there are rocks piled up to form a sea wall or breakwater of sorts? The beaches in France are so different from the ones here (on the west coast of Canada). I love all the little shops and restaurants and boardwalks. Even the tourist village was cute. I love your blouse! It's so pretty and summery. I remember it from your trip to Italy. Please show us the dress you bought!! Thanks so much for the tour.

I went to La Tranche a few years ago, I recognised that cobbled area where the market's held. I'm in Vendée at the moment...the rain is torrential!

Hi Fiona, I see on Insta you were getting the plane. Yes the weather is horrible here too right now. Sharon returned from Isle de Ré last weekend, they had beautiful weather and wasn't expecting it to be so. It is the end of the summer I suppose, not that we get very definitive seasons these days 🙄 Enjoy your time anyway. ❤
