An airsoft tracer you can use in daytime? - Acetech Brighter C

I really like my Brighter C but my only gripe is how easy it is to set off. I could be a stickler but I think it’s just a little too sensitive. That’s just my opinion though. It’s still a lovely unit!

Just got mine today, did a small comparison it seemed a little bit brighter compared to my acetech lighter. Not that big of a difference imho. I expected it to be a bit brighter. Still very happy with it!

I’ve got the Lighter BT, the new Spitfire and a Nuprol. I find the Lighter BT is the brightest and best to use. Love using them as it makes it so much easier in CQB to identify fall of shot. It also helps in identifying those not calling their hits.

Good video. I just got a Brighter C today. Works amazing. Super bright BBs at night. Interesting how they pretty much disappear once they hit trees or foliage.

@@vadeblade Almost any tracer will. Just saying that Acetech's site says that the Brighter-C doesn't support them specifically. Acetech has other offerings that do explicitly support red tracers, such as the Lighter BT.

@@richardhanck972 If you look up "Acetech Predator L 2000" on Amazon and view the item description, Acetech has a simplified "chart" for all their products showing green and red performance. AT2000R, Lighter R and Lighter BT all show good red performance compared to their other products. The "R" designation is for red for the first two. I'll try and capture red and green BBs through my AT2000R on video this weekend and post it in youtube.

i have two acetech tracers, have caught one or two cheaters, but have also caught a ton of crazy shots. One clip i shot into an opponents barrel, the BB entered and rolled out. The other I shot my opponent's BB as it exited his barrel, shattering both BBs.

Hello, I use tracers a lot. I had an acetech lighter S which died on me in the first week of use. Then I switched to Xcortech XT301, had 2 of those after a year one of them died on me but I am very happy with how they work. I also have a B&T tracer ans a Acetech lighter BT. That one is really nice when you want to use red bb's. I am definitely goint to buy the brighter C as well. I mainly play Indoor CQB 😉

I wouldn’t play airsoft now without a tracer unit, especially now that we have tracer bio bbs. My favourite tracer unit is defiantly the acetech lighter BT the fact that I have a readily available chrono makes building and tuning my guns so much easier.

They do sell the sleeve standalone, it's not produced by AceTech, it's KAC made. It's a Knights Armament KAC Airsoft 556 QDC Mock Silencer w/ 3 Prong Flash Hider, 79.95 on Evike standalone, without the tracer unit.

I actually fitted the spitfire into my dtss silencer and the effect is insanely cool! Bit of tape around the front and one of the wide foam baffles at the back and it was perfect! Silenced tracers are so much fun!

I bought the Acetech Lighter S and 3 months after, my local CQB field permanently closed as a side effect of covid. I got to use it once. And sadly, the next closest cqb field is about 6 hours away, so its looking like ill never get to use it again. It worked really well when I used it and its just so much fun to run tracers on Hi-capas and other pistols.

I still using Acetech Ligher S. On indoor, tracer unit can help us see when bb hit your enemy. The bb bounce so you can move to another target.

I don't film my games so that's out and I prefer making my gun shoot straight and properly zeroing my red dot/lpvo so I know where my BBs will go (as opposed to where they went and then walk them in). But I use tracers on night games and they are fun of course.

I almost exclusively shoot tracers for indoor cqb games. Not only does it look cooler on the gopro, but even when im not recording it makes it easier to identify hits and call out cheaters or players who may have honestly not felt a hit on their gear.

Hey sorry to bother you, I'm in the market for a good QD tracer unit and wondering how you like your Predator S/AT2000 unit. I've been looking at this exact one for my build, too and wanted to ask, how are you liking it? Any issues with wobble from the suppressor when attached? Any potential shake or recoil issues you've noticed? Do you run it with an AEG or GBB? If GBB, how does it handle your recoil? Thanks so much.

@@kodiakulv5148 No bother at all. I initially purchased the S but then decided I wanted the "L" can instead. I convinced Acetech to sell me the L can seperately even though they don't normally just sell the mock supressor without the tracer unit. Anyway, to answer your question, the metal mock suppressor (the can) itself is exceptional quality. Both S and L does not come loose and does not wobble or rattle once screwed onto the barrel. I run this on an AEG. i DO have an issue on how the tracer unit is held inside the can. This is how I fixed that issue kzbin.info/www/bejne/gp_EcnuGpd93d5o

I finaly got mine im very disapointed with it. Dosnt do what i exspected it to do and dosnt fit any bar 1 gun. Thats on a thundermaul witch is odd size thred for uk anyways. So dosnt fit most guns at all. Dosnt work with red tracers u can barly see the light in daytime. Dosnt do wat i 3xspected it to do what was advertised for it. Very disapointed in it

So I live in Augusta GA. We have no airsoft here. I have to drive almost 2 hours to the nearest airsoft field. Augusta is the second largest city in GA. We have Fort Gordan here as well. Thinking of opening an indoor field. What would you think a startup like that would cost? Real estate is location based, I get that. Insurance? I feel like the size of this city and demographic is right for a field. Just not sure how profitable it could be, and how long will it take to become profitable. Seems like a huge gamble.

Airsoft isn’t profitable compared to any other business. The only exception is if you have a extremely big store and have basically cornered the market for importation on a good amount of items like Evike has.

Consider your time and effort, you will not be able to do this alone. How much ppl you know who play airsoft near you ? Will you have a big enough base ? I would start small, and build a community around it. Like ppl go there to tech, have some talks etc. As for profit unless you run a ton of games it is hard to become profitable treat is as a side project. You would want to supply consumables first ( bb, gas, etc. ) Later you might want to build an army of rentals and can host smaller events for those who don't own airsoft stuff. Safety should be you nr 1 concern. So it is not easy :)

Cameras can be massively deceiving. You cant see this tracer at all during the daytime. Even when its dark indoors and outside, the smallest amount of light makes them barely glow. I along with some of my friends own this tracer along with lighter s. Both are amazing but dont think youll be able to see any tracer unless its almost pitch black

make sure to look down the barrel of your gun to make sure it is on. Take off your eye pro too, otherwise you might not see the green light.

Hey I have a quick question so I purchased a AceTech lighter r in 2020 and I used it like 2 times and stored it away and just started charging it because the battery was dead on it then it showed an indicated when I put it on the charger that it would be red then when I try to turn it on it wouldn't indicate no light like it wouldn't turn on so I wanted to ask you do you know what is wrong with it like is it messed up or like it doesn't work no more or is there a trick to it to get it back working again? And also when I try to press the on button and nothing shows like no light or nothing I'll keep on trying to press the button then I'll leave it alone and then if I try to put it on the charger again he'll indicate that it's charging again but when I try to unplug it and press the on button again it won't show no indication of green or red or anyting? Please hopefully you got to answer if not it's okay I appreciate the video though thumbs up 👍👍😎😎

hey bro what adaptor does tracer unit need to fit 4.5mm air pistols ?? i know the unit wont lighr up the bbs because there metal but i still wana put it on 4.5mm blowback guns to use for the muzzle ash effect ...but the adapter that comes in box wont fit the air pistols... the pistols i wana put it on are the AW 1911 HX custom and APS SHARK..doesnt seem to fit

Regarding the tracer unit, I had 3 acetech tracers but somehow thery don't last long even 2 months...they do not work anymore.... So I bought g&g uvt 106 and lit lasts longer and it works until these days....but its not bright as acetech..... So I am thinking about purchasing this new acetech and I really hope this new acetech tracer unit lasts long....

Honestly the best feature was the feature that was not mentioned. A change I noticed is the recessed threads so it will sit flush with your muzzle. The previous model the lighter S , did not have that design. Is had the threads on the rear of the unit which came about a quarter inch / half inch off the bottom. I prefer the recessed one. Nice design and great review. I want to see how this will look on my mp5

Yes, as long as you have threads under your flash hider, they will be 14mm negative. The only exception would be if you have an older G&P brand M4, they use 'positive' 14mm threads. The other brands for the most part all use 14mm - (CCW)

GITD BBs aren't really tricky to find, but do run more expensive than regular ones. The tricky part is finding _exactly_ what you need. Say you usually use .32g BBs... Fine, .32g tracers are simple. What if you need bio BBs? Bio .32g tracers exist. But my personal unicorn is a bio .32g red tracer BB. Heavier, bio, or non-green each adds to the rarity, and probably price, all at once seems to be nearly impossible.

Love aceteck, 2* BT and 2* lighter S, what's the new one like on red tracers, also whish they would make a tracer mag so I could use it on my shotty with mag adapter 😈 makes CQB more fun and more accurate shorts placed, sometimes a good tortch will help see those bb's😁🦖

hey John, I had a question about a recent series of complaints on your reviews, I know this is not a q&a video but still. A lot of your reviews for guns (Novsritch products especially) dont seem to have much gameplay time put on the products. Now I think this is fine for some reliable companies. When it comes to a lot of Novsritch products they seem to have good overall specs, (Fps, Feel, material, etc.) but if you look at the airsoft community you will see they are prone to lasting very little time do to poor build quality. because of this your reviews only cover the positive and not the large negative. This came to mind when you reviewed the ssp1 out of the box, and that gun stops functioning for a lot of people very quickly, but again due to no playtime that never made it into the review. I understand this is something a lot of airsoft reviewers do and its not good. If I knew SSX23s broke so quickly I wouldn't have bought one, but again all the reviews were good. (mine broke in the first month.) I really love your channel and you seem to be very honest, but this is something you could improve that a lot of people would appreciate. P.S. It was still my fault for not doing more research before buying a SSX23.

Red trends to absorb white light better compared to UV but most tracers will use UV which is harder to absorb for red.
