3 years latter, it is a❤‍🔥lovely ❤‍🔥watch (even if i would like on the black dial a black date ring ... I sincerely hope i will find & ♻buy one in faulty condition♻ to repair (or for parts) ... since it is a good start to learn Hangzhou 5000a micro-rotors

Sea-gull were planning on releasing their micro rotor movement, but they have decided against it. We will see how the Hangzu 5000 holds up over time.

You’re welcome. I’m impressed that you are able to limit your collection to 4 watches. I was happy at 4 myself, but unfortunately, I have gotten into watch modding and have built 2 with 3 in the queue! Lots of fun, but I’m dangerously close to double digit watches now.

I personally quite enjoy limiting myself to 4, it forces me to really think about what I want and why. I really only have a transient collection of 2 as 2 slots in the box are taken up with one which was a gift from my partner and the other which holds sentimental value, so I have to be really quite ruthless!

QC Issues- that squeekiness that people hear from the band us actually the springbar holes being drilled too close to the case, causing the cheap gloss finish of the strap to rub against the case. I changed my strap for a suede one, but it still rubs against the case and since I have the "gold" version on this watch, my guess is that it will eventually rub the finish off the case. Second, the rotor sounds like plastic. If you tap the case in any place, you get a rather loud rattling/plastic sound. These issues aside, which I have seen in zero reviews fawning all over this watch, it's the only affordable micro rotor watch on the market and worth it if just not to have it.

Thanks for your comments, interesting on the springbar holes, I checked mine and even with the original strap on (which I swapped out), mine does not rub the case, it's very close, but doesn't quite touch it. On the rotor, I'm not sure I agree, on my example everything sounds quite solid, lightweight, but solid none the less.

@@themechanicaltimepiece6288 Yea, mine doesn't rub against the case either But something must be rubbing against something, if not where is the squeaky sound coming from The rotor doesn't look plastic to me either. Not sure what material it is, but I don't think it's plastic

That's my one issues with this watch, the hands are very delicate, which means reading them at a glance is not as easy as it could be.
