I will never get tired of elf as I have been silly and thought who cares but I stand corrected. I finally got elf soft glam foundation and so impressed. Love the brushes more than expensive ones. Yeah gummy bear break yum yum

May I suggest with the liquid and cream products, powder too, but especially the cream and liquid, to put some one the back of the hand, swirl the brush to get an even layer worked into the brush then pat on the skin. It works so much better and avoids that patchy look or over applied problem. Otherwise you go straight in to the product and straight to the face, it’s not going to apply evenly and becomes a problem you can easily avoid. Little tip that’s helped me a lot with applying product so it applies evenly and in light layers. Powders you just want to make sure your swirl or dab straight in and get it worked into the bristles too, but with creams and powders especially applying from back of hand to avoid excess and work into bristles is a headache saver.😊

Yes, that’s typically what I do, but I don’t always remember it especially when I’m filming, because I’m still getting used to it.

21:37 as many videos I’ve seen on this foundation, for some reason I can really tell what it looks like on you. I don’t know if it’s the lighting or the other people prepped their skin with a lot of moisturizer, but it looks like it would be too drying on me. Saying that I still wanna try it & maybe just make sure my skin is well moisturized

Putty products you got to get through that top layer first to the creaminess. Not a fan of the putty bronzers and blushes but they do the job.

Love the foundation and the primer but those drops suck. They aren’t even drops. Physicians Formula has a beautiful bronzing drop in a dropper bottle that wear beautifully alone or mixed, and looks real. Milani has a very light consistency, barely there drops, but this Elf one is a mousse consistency which isn’t what drops are meant to be at all.😂 The shades even suck. Those bite size palettes are so good! I’m not as keen on the blush and highlight duos but those shadows I absolutely love. It looks like they are phasing them out though 😢 Obsessed with the lip oils just to reapply for a little color and hydration. The wand is perfect to cup the lips.

I’ve tried to use the elf bronzing drops a few times since this video and I absolutely hate them. Bronzing drops just aren’t something that I would utilize a whole lot so I don’t plan on finding another brand.

Why don’t you just get the elf foundation in a warm instead of a cool? That way I’m sure you can skip the bronzing drops.

Hi. So i have a few shades in my cart on amazon. I wasn’t sure if i needed to go with a fair color but on the warmer side or if I should go up to a light and warmer shade. Does that make sense?

@@jessicabutler1015I’d consider a neutral since elf warms run so much darker and even orange, but the bronzing drops are meant to mix with foundation for that purpose for one and 2. elf does not have great undertones so it’s usually going to be a little too light or much too dark, and you get one too dark or with the wrong undertone, it’s gonna be very noticeable. At least with a cooler she can tweak it easier.

@@jessicabutler1015the drops are meant to be mixed into foundation and especially with this, applying it alone it applies patchy so you kinda need to mix it. Milani has a bronzing drop that you can wear alone or mix and it works as it should, but you have to keep in mind undertones and Elf doesn’t have the best options. It took them years to come out with a decent range for the very popular Halo foundation. But Elf foundations also oxidize a lot.
