Oath decks are very strong. When you wheel it in pack 2-3, not pick it in pack 1 and try to build around it ;)

I genuinely love the way you bargain with the universe. You are speaking odds to the nether, to a hypothetical interlocutor, to Descartes' demon. It's a beautiful way to do commentary on a game that relies on the excitement of RNG, and trying to calculate it's odds from heuristics rather than hard math. Luck, Skill, Victory!

Etali and Woodfall Primus wheeling despite passing Griselbrand and Through the Breach is all the proof you need to know that you are in a WIDE open lane. You even have Necromancy and Woodfall Primus, which is a combo I know you enjoy. I think you made the right call with Sheoldred P1P1, but can we talk about the sick mono red deck you almost had for a second? Lightning Bolt, Runaway Steam-Kin (on the wheel), Fiery Confluence, maybe Flickerwisp (on the wheel), Fury, Lava Dart (on the wheel), Library of Alexandria, Embereth Shieldbreaker (likely on the wheel), Gut, Carnage Interpreter, Rampaging Raptor (on the wheel), and maybe Zirda as the last potentially relevant card of pack 1. Then pack 2 starts with Ragavan, another perfect card for the deck.

That round one matchup felt so bad. ''I'm you but better'' personified. Also opponent missed lethal at 40:00. Make colonade into a creature with nissa, activate it so it becomes a 4\4 with 3 counters. That is 8+ power's worth of fliers in the air.

Show and tell and griselbrand both being missing on the wheel was a strong indicator to me that someone else was on the big creature plan, so picking big creatures would've been a big priority for me in this draft

Did you take karakas cause it’s better than itali or because its good against you, because this is a league, you’re almost never playing against anyone from your draft

LSV has a really high valuation of Karakas. Personally not sure about it being above Etali in that situation, but I'm pretty sure he thought it'd be better for his deck.

@@bricelory9534 I know and I also live karakas, but he did mention during the pick that it was good against him, which shouldn’t be a consideration. For example, late in pack three, I would rather take a card I would side in 1% of the time, than hate draft an incredible card like academy that I couldn’t play, because you so rarely face that player in your pod.

p1p5 taking inquisition over Gut when you already have a red fetch I think shows how much he's changed his opinion on inquisition recently. I think a couple months ago he was lower on inquisition but over the last few weeks he has been taking the card more highly

He also gets library like 50% of drafts and one mana interactive cards are incredibly good at maintaining your hand number and turning card advantage into trades.
