Hi guys and welcome to another (almost) week in my life here in seoul. We're still cautiously going out in Korea and since nearly everyone is wearing masks and using hand sanitizer and just generally being cautious, I still feel really safe. The weather has been a little weird lately so we're taking advantage of the cooler weather before this summer inevitably turns up to make us melt/ Hope you're all doing okay as always and I can't wait to share my project with you this upcoming Frieday KST (Thursday night for EST/PST^^)

I always enjoy the rain, especially heavy ones, in Seoul because once I step outside, I feel clean. The clear air, the freshly washed sidewalks....it can be inconvenient, but I am on the side of occasional rainy days for my soul!

I just want to say: the way your videos dress ordinary life in such a beautiful aesthetic does something special for my mind. When I was a teenager, I used to see the world with awe and intrigue. But, over time, one grows world-weary. Despite how passionately I used to pledge that I’d never become jaded, reality bore down on me hard. I often have limited interest in going out and people strike me as riddled with unnecessary (and often intimidating) flaws. But your videos act as an antidote to that, a prophylactic against the darker tendencies of the mind. You show the beauty of Seoul, your apartment, your normal life, and I’m reminded that there’s beauty in mine. Thanks, Cari!

Hi from Busan! Love the vlog, love the flowers, the weather updates! One cooking tip I learned: shouldn't mix just eggs and sugar and then let them sit long cause the yolk will burn in sugar and that also makes the burnt smell and taste after. Just to remember in case for next recepies :)

I love these kind of week in my life videos so much! Highly appreciated the glimpses into the supermarket (I don't know if it's because I study cultures in uni or because I work in a supermarket part-time, but I LOVE watching stuff about foreign supermarkets or foreigners exploring my country's supermarkets). I really wouldn't have minded a sped up cleaning part of the video, those tend to make me want to clean as well (which is not a motivation I have often, so I tend to use these motivation kicks).

the used book store gave me anxiety, I am really not well with cramped spaces even just watching it triggers my panic mode. But I couldn't stop watching cause this is one of what I call my sweet escapes. The hair raising was worth it. Always love watching your videos

I used to love to get off at Jongro 3 ga station and walk along Jongro going up to Gwangjang Market, along Jongro you can find all kinds of seasonal plants and flowers to decorate your house (if your venturing south then head to Express Bus terminal market) or fresh cut flowers at Namdaemoon Flower Market. I used to love May in Seoul since it was the time of the year for the Annual Memorial rights at Chongmyo Shrine and the re-inactment of the marriage of Emperor and Empress Myong. Spring was always so festive but heard springtime every year is becoming shorter and shorter. Enjoy...btw making Thai Ice tea is so easy to make!!!

For the cake: you could maybe also try putting a layer of parchment paper between the rice cooker and the orange? Oil, parchment, (oil), orange, batter? But also: love your videos!
