My parents have been reading Christianity Today for a long time, and are deeply committed to this kind of Conservative Evangelicalism, so I was hoping to refresh my memory on how people tend to reason in these circles. I was deeply committed to the same faith for 30 years; since a catastrophic deconstruction crisis, I now identify as a Progressive Post-postmodern Christian. In my case, this ordeal was triggered by seeing the way Evangelical leaders kept excusing Trump's overt misogyny, lechery, sensuality and predatory violence, when I'd been taught that it was a horrible sin even to look at x-rated images. This helped me question their authority and begin to interpret the Bible in accordance with my own direct experience, conscience, and sincere search for truth, which helped me learn that I've been autistic and "gay" and trans my whole life. So, now I can be more at peace with God, knowing that I'm not some depraved monster, and that Christ is more merciful than the visible church. I pray that Conservatives like you and my parents would stop caring so much about determining who has the most logically consistent theology, and thereby the authority to pronounce definitive ethical judgments on complex modern questions; and that you would learn to listen more attentively and compassionately to people like me who fall through the cracks in your analysis of Gospel Law. Conversion therapy is torture, BTW. Christ already died for us. Of course we are called to crucify the flesh, but those endeavors should bear the fruit of the Spirit, not observably drive earnest people to madness and self-destruction. May God continue to unify the Universal Church, and lead the faithful into all truth.

I think if he speak at Liberty He could change alot.The president of Liberty has put politic on the back burner. We got to speak about climate if we want to keep living.all this talking is no good if we cannot breath
