Feels odd to miss a dog that isn't yours.. But y'all were a constant source of joy for me whilst in rehab for nearly 3 years. As hard as it is to lose a pet, I myself have lost them. But you need to open your heart to all those beautiful dogs in the shelters so many being put down. They need loving homes. Shera would be happy knowing you were helping another Beautiful being.❤

Jamie isn’t ready yet. If I were him, I would *deeply* resent all these suggestions that he “just get another dog.” Beloved family members aren’t so easily replaced, after all. We all need to mind our own; and wait on Jamie to make his own decision.

@@LauraMacMillan-el2kc How do you know he's not ready? How do you know that he hasn't decided to go ahead and is just waiting for one that the touches his heart? Unless of course, you're the first person he calls to tell his life decisions to and if that is the case, I stand corrected. However, I doubt you're that person. Some people suggest he is ready while others, like you, suggest he's not. They are all just assumptions. Jaime is the only one that will know when he is or isn't ready, and I seriously doubt he resents anyone making any suggestions that they think might make him feel better. A lot of people loved Sherpa and Jamie and they only want him to be okay. Most know when he (Jamie) is ready to do whatever he decides, thats what he'll do. You really shouldn't try to make other folks feel bad for only trying to help. After all, isn't that exactly what you were doing? I mean, based on your own desire to comment you sure weren't "minding your own" like you tell other people to do. Perhaps you could try being nicer. Then again, maybe it's just not in your nature. Only you know that for sure.

Durdle Door is a beautiful location to just chill and admire the settings. Sherpa certainly knew how to relax breathing in the sea air. Lovely holiday park, Jamie with the wildlife.
