Good luck with that project. She’s been used and abused. But definitely can be fixed. Looking forward to the next one hope it’s worth the time and energy.

Hey Rich i run a 22inch industrial whole tree chipper powered by a v12 Cat 3412. Make sure you get your chipper.knives sharpened or replace them. They make a massive difference.

Reminds me of “Fargo” and an independent film by John Schneider (Bo Duke) written about a young man who gets in the “shredding” business. Some people just need to be shredded nowadays… he explained the reason for the film

Neat toy... looking forward to seeing a part two on this...was wondering if this is a production automotive engine or a field application engine where the crankshaft is 180° different..??...good content and thanks...🔧🔧👍

I would be shocked if you don't get it to start, these engines are like the slant 6 mopar, just keep oil in them and they will run forever. They are very durable. I know of one in a J10 that had 400k miles, the truck finally rotted off of the frame leaving the frame and part of the bed. Engine still ran with little oil consumption in a 70's CJ.

Have you looked at what AMC headers go for these days? Lol. Wood have more in the headers than the whole rig. All in good fun. Cheers!

Was going to build a wood chipper with a 5hp Briggs & Stratton but that seems awfully lame now 😮 For twigs and smaller branches ok 😉
@richardlucore68134 ай бұрын
If it completes the job you need done. Then it's not lame. I literally bought this because it's an amc V8 chipper. It will help move other things forward. Gonna be great! Cheers!

You are truly hardcore! What is up with the bottle jack? I prefer the hobo freight 3 ton aluminum floor jacks, they are faster and I find them to be less work.
