Hello from Australia. I’ve always loved this treatment of Bach’s ‘St Matthew’s Passion’, more commonly known as ‘American Tune’ by the incomparable Paul Simon. I rarely listen to lyrical content but I’m pretty sure that the lyrics of this one song could not be more apt in these bewildering times - they’re ageless. Likewise, I don’t hear too many covers of this beautiful piece that perk my ears up. Yours and Darrell Scott’s certainly have - congrats; it was wonderful 👌

I've got goosebumps. I'm 60 years old so you can imagine how many times I have heard this song (the original version and countless fantastic cover versions). Imho yours is the best I've encountered so far. Miss Oostdam, I think you are actually an angel. I'm a lawyer by profession and a hobbyist-guitarist in my spare time. Although the solo in Let it Be is mostly in A minor pentatonic, the whole song is in C Major. I think the vocal melody suits your voice . I think you should do a cover of Let It Be with just a simple piano and guitar accompaniment. It would be glorious!!!

Awesome! I'm ravished. A friend sent me the link to another version of this song and yours just popped up. Now I'm fallen for you ;-). I immediately googled for any concerts or recordings and couldn't find any so far. What a shame. I'll be there if you do a performance in near future (hopefully near german border) and if you release any recording I'm gonna buy it. I also saw your other videos on youtube and I think you're a great talent. That young age shool performance already shows what's coming and your version of "I fall in love to easily" is wonderful. I don't know if it's possible to bring back that campground mood again but I'm sure you can do a stunning version of that song again in a better audio quality recording. Please do it!
