All death in To your eternity are extremely heartbreaking, but episode 1 is on another level. The nameless boy , we only saw him for 1 ep , yet it felt like we knew him since forever. The saddest part isn’t when he died , but when he slowly realize the hope he once held never existed . He was still smiling till the end , apologizing to his “companion”, making a promise with him that was impossible to keep . Rest In Peace , our dear nameless boy . At least , you’re reunited with your loved ones .

This anime/manga succeed in highlighting what is truly important in life: the connections we make with others on our journey along with conveying just how fleeting life truly is and that we are to make the most of it while helping others along the path our life takes. To live a virtuous life and through the active pursuit of virtue, we become virtuous.
@justepzzz20102 жыл бұрын
Yes but this anime says too that every connection we make will finish one day and that's really sad but the important Is to go forward on your own path no matter what happens
@prince_dogboy2 жыл бұрын
@@justepzzz2010 you can expand on that with the belief that our time with others is limited. Make the most of the time we have with others, and make sure that we dont end up with regrets regarding our interpersonal relationships since every parting could potentially be the last. I believe it's a good idea to practice the concept of never leaving on bad terms, especially over an argument or disagreement. Speak your feelings and let those in your life know that they are valued. It's best to practice behaviors and thoughts like this so you don't have to learn the hard way through the sudden loss of a loved one and be left without closure.

This is so unfair. I can't listen to this without immediately weeping like a child that lost it's mother. This anime is on another level. The bittersweet melancholy of it all. The struggle. The strive to live, to exist. TO SEE THE WORLD, each life, a vibrant, strongly lit candle that tragically goes out. Standing through it all but one witness. Fushi. The one to keep the memories of all those lost lives. I can't describe how incredibly emotional this anime makes me. What a fascinatingly, tragic work of art. I can't wait for season 2 this fall.

You should check out Lost Odyssey: A Thousand Years of Dreams on youtube If you liked the way immortality was presented in To Your Eternity. It's a collection of short stories from a game called Lost Odyssey.
Listening to the OST from this video is what actually made me start watching *To Your Eternity.* Absolutely beautiful anime. If only I could watch it again for the first time.

The biggest test in every human life is losing someone, and having to continue. Takes a while, but those wounds can make us stronger, the same way Fushi gets new skills and learnings when he loses friends, despite the infinite sadness and dread of keep losing beloved ones. Fushi's journey represents for me the same quest every human has in their lives.

The fact that you can tell everyone how you feel just with music, now matter witch language they speak. They will always understand. Music connects people. It makes them feel a certain way. Live without music is something I can hardly imagine. It would be lonely, and barren. Because you always know, music connects people. When you are listening to music, you are never alone. God, I am not ok after this in the purest ways because I just watched the first episode prompted by this soundtrack. Literally stopped after the first track, went to watch ep1, proceeded to bawl my eyes out right off the bat and came back here to sporadically cry ( I have to study so I reward myself with anime crying sessions) I just love it. Thank you for the music
If there's one crossover character that would witness everything from beginning to end without interfering while occasionally interacting with Fushi from time to time, it would be Frieren.

I haven't even started To Your Eternity and just reading some of the comments my heart is aching.. Can't wait to start it..
I had discovered this playlist a while back. The comments here motivated me to watch the anime, and can I just say, it was such a good decision. I remember picking up this anime a while back and dropping it, but after this playlist, I gave it another go. I haven't seen such an anime before. It reminded me of "The Alchemist," by its journey and learning from others, but far more sorrowful and distinct. It made me realise that there are people who don't just view the world as getting to the top, or something far more ambitious, but also dwell on the meaning of their life, and that of others. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to properly watch the anime again, this wonderful playlist and other commenters.

I've been searching for videos related to this anime for the past few months and I just found yours 😢;)))))
to summerise "To your Eternity" it is a Masterpiece of an Artwork everything from the sounds ( that you can hear here) to the visuals , to the story lines, to the overlying theme, to the transitions, and the overall direction and completion are done just so that it enhances the story. S2 may feel different in comparison, but I am glad that they took that different route to it, adds to the spiciness of the story and does not lessen its beauty one bit.
