Being an atheist I visited Mecca twice for Omrah rituals with my wife who is a believer. I observed everything from neutral point of view. If appeared to me that people of Mecca are not passionate about the Islam, rather they focuses on business. They have little respect for the pilgrims from far away places. Pilgrims also have little respect for each other, everyone seems to stay ahead of the others.

Ok so, I haven’t recited verses from the Quran in a while which is something I was told to and used to do daily. When she mentioned Surat Alfateha, I paused for a moment to see if I remember it. I expected to struggle with that cause the words were nonsense to me and only by repetition did I keep remembering them. But even after this time, I recited the whole thing without even pausing at any point to think. It’s kinda terrifying how deeply ingrained those words were in my brain. One of my former friends (female) kept venting her frustration at me because she was so desperate to get married so she can finally go to Mecca. She's an only child with a single mother, and if you're a woman, you can't go there without being accompanied by a male mahram. I do wish her all the happiness in the world, but I used to be worried about her making a rash decision simply because she wants to visit this supposedly "holy" site. I think I must have confused Abdullah Sameer with Harris Sultan because I was thinking when Abdullah says, "I didn't know it was that bad." I'm sure I'd heard you cover this topic of sexual harassment in Mecca before. So I think it must have been on the Harris Sultan channel. It just shows how Abdullah is trying to be friendly or gentle with those who are still Muslims, as compared to the approach of other exmuslims. Still the truth will out. I was watching another channel earlier on the way that the Qur'an has been corrupted to allow Muslim men to live lives with sex as a main motivation. This other channel was saying that the structure of the parts of the surahs that have "except for those (slave/captive women) your right hand possesses" has a different structure to the verses around them, suggesting that these exceptions have been added to the text to encourage Muslims to fight for their leaders so they can use women as well as the financial loot from raiding and warring for Islam. So Islam now actually teaches this sort of predatory behaviour towards women.

As a Christian originally from Germany, I have also been to some mass Christian events in stadiums or large venues, and they were not American style evangelizations with altar calls. They were very different. There were speakers with reports from the mission fields and the work that got done, including plenty of practical work. Our country-wide bands and choirs practiced wonderful music to be sung together at the large event. I played trumpet as a a young person. Our hymns were not repetitive hand-waving things but serene poetry of many well-crafted verses. There was art, good sense and beauty to these events. People everywhere need to use their God-given gifts and talents and mind in worship and service, not just crowding together for the sake of a feeling or ritual, or least of all, for the forgiveness of sins.

The situation is sort of true for a lot of religious followers, no matter which religion it is, even though I'm sure not all followers are as such. It should fall into the hands of the religious leaders to focus on building the right spiritual relationship with God and personal character, and not just follow through ritual as it is. The point is Allah doesn't exist and Islam is fake. Allah couldn't do anything to control the course of events in what the Arabs claim to be Allah's house. She defied Allah and nothing happened.
