Yes it does the job well, unfortunately too well as my freshly oiled chain sprayed oil drops onto my smart riding jacket. Even with 6ft long mudguard like the BSA has. Fail on my part there. 😂😂

Had a house in Quarteira for 5 years and only went into Albufeira once in all that time. Once was enough! Gale and the beach there is lovely though, hence that high price. I miss it and wish I still had the place there in Algarve. Weather is lovely there all year, even winter. Enjoy!

1:14 Classic. I am back in Portugal in mid-May. Lagos, to be precise, where I have a condo with a garage under the building. I ride a trike when I'm in Portugal. Can-Am F3-S. Just as exciting as two-wheelers. Like riding a snowmobile with three wheels. Portuguese property prices are always wildly optimistic. Albufeira is the worst part of the Algarve. Have a ride down to Olhao. Not far from you. Lovely place. Nick

Thank you Nick, I've already been invited on a group ride and suggested that I'm in the least nice part for rides. So friendly people (thanks Jed if you read this). We really liked Lagos Nick, we went over for a day and it's Suzie's favourite beach... if you need someone to rent your house next year and look after it 😊😊 haha. Property prices always an interesting topic... so they ask 485k and accept 400k, that's more palatable!

@@MindfulMotorcyclist In all honesty I was married up until 2010 to a woman who controlled my every move including money. After we split up I decided I would never again explain or justify a single penny of my money to another woman. Don't get me wrong, I make sure the current Mrs Boulder is not left destitute, and the bills are paid, but after that my money, that I work hard for, is mine. Hence when I bought my Rolls Royce Ghost in 2022 I did not even consult her.

@@BibTheBoulderTheOriginalOne We've all been there Bib, I dated a woman before who claimed she was a financial advisor and turned out to be an office administrator. After we moved in she wanted the passwords to get into my internet banking. She was always in debt and said 'I understand money better than you' Needless to say I ran or more correctly drove off in a diesel Peugeot to West Wales, phone off for a week 😂😂. I wasn't married but needed a good lawyer for other financial bits. Never again. I do talk to Suzie about big spends but she is encouraging of bike purchases. Suzie is very well looked after too. She said to buy the BSA as I am naturally not a comfortable man when it comes to big spends. Perhaps I should be a bit more like you Bib and get the odd crazy bike (busa), however a Ghost is not yet possible 😂😂😂😂

@@MindfulMotorcyclist Yep, being a decent person isn't always the best thing in a relationship if you have the bad fortune to have chosen a not-so-decent partner. You and Suzie certainly seem well matched from the way you come across on the channel. In fairness Mrs Boulder wouldn't (and doesn't) complain when I spend big (so to speak). But truth be known I would be outta here like a shot if she tried to change me....but she's a really decent woman so I treat her like the one in 7 million that she is..

Last year it was very weird, we came back in March and I was expecting the buds and the birds singing in spring. Turned out to be a false hope and it was cold for weeks until May ish. Then of course 23 had the wash out summer, I didn't have the Goldstar until September so didn't miss too much. We will be back in June so I hope it's good by then 🤞🤞
