I had the privilege of knowing Steve Nagel who flew 4 missions in space and got to fly with his wife. Astronauts are definitely fantastic people. After knowing Steve I figured that NASA’s first selection priority is being a good person with technical skills a distant second. I met “Hoot” once in Florida, a genuinely good man.

Gibson and Seddon live in Murfreesboro, TN, where she is from. Hoot appears pretty regularly at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL.

Sorry to hear Hoot was married before. So his remarriage is actually adultery. That is a tragedy and aviation is largely in vain.
