Hey everyone, here’s my version at a low pressure low buy for 2024. I’m personally working to limit the number of items I’m bringing into my home for various reason - so the challenge could really be boiled down to 24 items in in 2024.

I actually found this video more helpful with spending than some of my therapy sessions lately lol. Seriously. Your thoughts on setting 24 items, writing a wish list. The wish list I already do bc I'm so impulsive, or should say "try" to do, but the 24 items seems so small but SO helpful. I'm going to implement so THANK YOU, this was so helpful! I'm starting small, trying for a no buy/low buy February. And I have to admit that I in a very sill way rushed to order something on 31th of January just so I can justify it to myself that it was not in February... Anyway, 8 days in I'm going well, but also planning on buying a not-so-necessary item today. Maybe I'll set a limit og two things per month, because that really takes the pressure off of absolutely no new items. Thank you for another great inspirational video! So many comments 👏🏻👏🏻 I saw the same no buy/low buy video! I created 3 lists. Our red lists are very similar! 😅 I think I have had 2-3 days of buying unnecessary items too. It’s so hard to go cold turkey 🦃 especially after the holidays. To everyone doing a lowbuy /no buy (for whatever reason) good luck! doing a no buy on clothes this year, last year did a low buy on planners. That is gone now, been in pocket but season has me going to personal and of course I sold all I had. Interested in that ranger, never saw one is ebay the only place to find them'

seems like so many people are doing a low buy this year! me included haha but i just keep finding justifications for buying everything i want :| i find the wishlist trick super helpful though cause weirdly i sometimes impulse purchase things purely because i’m scared of forgetting that i want them? turns out i can just write them down lol. anyways thanks for the motivation to keep going despite making some mistakes in january, i feel less alone now

Best of luck with your low buy! I think it’s all about improvement over perfection when it comes to spending habits. I know I’ll slip up, but i feel like I’m slipping up less if that makes sense?

Such a great idea and set-up! I am really curious about your re-selling process when downsizing. What websites do you use? How do you decide what the price should be? What are the differences and perks of using one site (say Facebook Marketplace) vs eBay. Any suggestions for someone new to reselling items online? Especially planner/stationary/pens/etc.

I’m probably not the best resource because when I sell things I’m usually a ‘priced to sell’ versus getting all my money back type of person. Now I offer most of my de stash over on Patreon first - but otherwise I primarily use instagram + PayPal or Mercari because they make shipping really easy. Mercari does take a big fee out so maybe not the best platform as a seller, but I find the process really user friendly on both selling / purchasing. If you’re selling planners or pens I think facebook has the best bst market - but I don’t have a facebook currently so not somewhere I personally use.

What helped me last year for my no buy was taking g it a week at a time! Building a habit, rather than completely 100% cold turkey stop shopping. It has created a habit now. ❤ try that!

I had some health stuff to get but after this month I plan to save as much as I can I have a surgery that I need to get done, but I need to save to be able to stay overnight in the city my surgeon is in Goal is 4000-5000 (hotels are expensive 😢)?
