Even though he makes fun his singing really hits me deep. I'm a singer and I always could differentiate if someone's singing is genuine or wether you can hear all kinds of nuances of ego shining through the singing. This man sang with his heart. I heard his heart and soul also in Vincent and unchained melody. His voice was great and he really could transport emotions although he plays the fool here.

I wish I could have listened to Freddy in the early to mid 60s Liverpool with the seniors, midniters or the Starr boys. The way Freddie kicks off into a note perfect intro to what'd I say the sign of a class musician. I can picture them in somewhere like the Tower ballroom or the iron door packed to the rafters.

I was lucky enough to have seen him a couple of times in clubs, before he really hit the big time He was always pretty uncontrollably funny even then. What a terribly sad ending in the last few years of his life.

A time back in the 80’s and early 90’s when you stayed in to watch TV with shows like An Audience With when especially Freddie was on. Entertainment at its best when the idea was to make you laugh and Freddie certainly did that When both the BBC and ITV were both at the top of their game Sadly not now 🏴🏴🏴❤️❤️🙏🙏😃😃
