Is there anything obvious showing up in bIood tests or on scans etc that indicate it? Because it would be wrong to assume that one has some sort of m.d. just because one does not do certain things that the avrg humn considered ‘normal’ etc, considering the fact that most people are in fact the ones that are a walking m.d. that do beyond wrong things, yet don’t realize or don’t accept the fact that what they do is wrong etc...

I am the logical being and I have the highest perception level and the highest awareness, as do all my pure protectors aka the alphas, and we do not have any m.d.’s! Even things like natural OCD and true depression and PTSD that most consider to be m.d.’s, are in fact just a natural response that I have, due to the fact that I have the highest perception level and the highest sensitivity and the highest awareness etc, so they are the opposite of m.d.’s! In some cases, maybe the dudez that are considered to have m.d.’s are in fact a high-perception dude that doesn’t want to be around humnz, due to the fact that most humnz are not an enjoyable presence, and also some may also avoid humnz in general because they notice how wrong most humn behaviors really are, so they aren’t interested in ‘fitting in’ and prefer to follow the voice of reason instead (which most humnz don’t) and, that leads to self-isolation because it’s not easy to find another dude that isn’t trying to ‘fit in’ or do what most consider ‘the norm’ etc!

It's crazy how much his social skills improved since two years beforehand !! He talks faster, uses facial expressions and body language way more; it also feels a lot more natural, and i like to think it's genuine. I noticed he seems more self aware and comfortable expressing himself, which is awesome ! As with an hypothetical diagnosis for autism (Asperger more specifically), i was also the one who insisted on getting a diagnostic for it, and it makes me so happy to see him be able to express himself more easily and gain confidence in social settings :] I feel so proud of how far he's come, and he's probably not done in his journey on improvment; especially since it's also been almost 2 years since this video was posted. Congrats Garrett, i hope you're proud of yourself, you truly deserve to :D We wish you the best, as well as to everyone in a similar situation; stay strong!

I’m autistic and a grown woman so my experience is different (all autistic people are different - like neurotypical people). However, when he talks about appearing “normal” but still a bit “off” somehow - that is my experience. Also when he says “am i me or am i who other people want me to be?” in regards to socialising that is very much my experience. My natural way of being is very unusual (seeming dazed and silent and not talking) so I created a character to be able to exist normally and have a job etc.

I hope this comment could reach the author of this channel. I have ASD and definitely felt identified with his behaviour, I’m older than him (26yo) and honestly would like to be interviewed because maybe what I could say it can help a lot of people with autism (specially kids and teenagers) that ask themselves how would they’re life would be if their bubble of confort and support explodes. Living with ASD in most of cases lead or can be linked people into other continuous conditions like depression, panic attacks, anxiety, eating disorders, alexithimia, atypical psicosis, etc. My bubble burst when I had 19yo, having ASD, my father’s death, had to leave my country with no money and not career at all. I found myself alone, as a migrant, related with the wrong people with no support or money facing the real world. It’s a long not easy story but here I am alive. I think it’s important to prepare and educate autistic young people to make their way less bumpy.

As a high functioning autistic person (never really pronounced as such since my more serious disorders took precedence) I knew what Garrett actually meant when he said things which NTs might not understand. In my case, it's been as if the people around me are speaking a different language than I, and I have to translate everything before I speak to try to make them understand me. I actually recognized Garrett right away from the interview you two did two years ago! I am now a senior citizen and I learned nine years ago that, when I sing, people actually get me! It's a great feeling to finally be understood!!

I have now watched 3 interviews with Garrett, and what a bright young man. I've watched a couple of his videos on youtube - very relatable. All the best to Garrett. I have two sons who are in their late 20s, both with Aspergers. The older one lives with me and is a published writer. The younger has lived on his own on and off, finished first year university, and has plans to go back, eventually. While it has been a challenge at times, every year things get better. Both are unique in different ways, with different challenges. We have a special bond through gaming, too. I've even been able to leave them on their own to travel for weeks or a month at a time when needed. All that to say, although it can be challenging, they both have bright futures ahead of them, and as adults they are able to cope with life.

Garrett is hilarious. He made me laugh so many times. He seems very comfortable in his own skin which is a very admirable quality.

Dude Garrett's comedic timing is absolutely spot on! I was cracking up at his jokes. It's great to see how much more confident he is in himself.

Garrett apologising to Chuck E Cheese, and you know it's an actual apology, but also an actual joke, and knowing that's exactly the dilmena he's so clearly articulating, is fantastic.

Wow I would hope everyone with autism makes the same progress this young man has. It seems like he's he's learning a lot of what empathy is and actively tries to use it. I wish people with autism were more vocal about the way they see things. I think it would be a breath of fresh air for other people that also don't see why they have to fit in to a certain mold.

Wow Garrett, I loved this interview! You are much like my son who’s 15 and has autism and is also a massive gamer. Good on you! You will do great things in life ❤

I think he's a amazing person and such an inspiration. My son is 3 years old and he was diagnosed with autism.I think now Garrett needs to get out more and the world because to me he's is a very normal person just need to interact more with people of his age. Some people are gonna love you some people are not gonna love it's life being a neurotypical person I realize that you just have to be yourself and find the people that make you happy. And that you can interact with and have relationship with.

Is this really the same Garrett?? Wow how you have grown as a person! (Your sister too!) you really are neat and just awesome being you. I wish I can be your friend and I wish I knew someone like you when I was your age but just meeting you and seeing your growth has fulfilled those wishes. You’ve given me confidence that time does help with acceptance and it’s okay to think differently. STAY AWESOME GARRETT

he seems like an awesome guy! he has great taste in video games, as shown by the undertale mask! i'm also autistic and grew up homeschooled, so a lot of his experiences rung pretty true to mind too-- he reminds me a lot of friends i made at the co-ops i went to, just a chill, funny geeky dude who seems fun to hang out with
