Watching your video 2 years after you posted it. Great video. Since I retired my wife and I have been touring the Finger Lakes (we live in Syracuse). We greatly enjoy our visits. The Finger Lakes are beautiful every season of the year. However, the fall is the best. Thanks for the video. I hope it inspires people to visit.

PennYan,a village on the north end of Keuka Lake is worth a lengthy visit, as is Hammondsport on the south end of the lake. Hammondsport has an interesting museum, too.

At 1:36 you will see a mountain that my son named "Dolly Parton" when he was about 6 years old. It is along Rt15N about 5 miles north of Trout Run, PA, can't miss it she is lying down right infront of you.

Where is this cabin , how to book?

It is on Lake Keuka. I booked it through VRBO, but unfortunately, the owners were selling their place and I ended up being their very last booking before moving. I guess there is a chance that the new owners will rent the cabin out as well but I don't know anything more.

Thanks Adam, I really appreciate the sentiment! No worries though as I do have a wife and family. I am very lucky to be with them every day normally. But these short trips give me a chance to be on my own for a little and explore to get a break from daily life once in a while. 🙂
