french republic forbid breton speaking their own langage till early 20th century , so now , very few breton still speak breton langage (about 200000 on 3 000000 people) ; happyness we still have more than 600 kinds of dance with many sorts of music for breton dances

victorinix Ca a duré bien plus longtemps que ça. Dans les années 40 et 50, mon pére était puni, prenait des coups de règle, etc... quand il parlait breton en classe. Résultat : aujourd'hui il connait des mots mais ne sait plus le parler. C'est si triste pour notre pays, on nous a rendus honteux d'être bretons. Je ne pardonnerai jamais ça à l'état français.

that main melody you call Andro is not traditional it is called War Hent keriguarch and was written by Soig Siberil the original guitar player for the Breton band Kornog. you should make note of copyrighted material. very beautiful playing.

Shaunagh Smith the Chapman Stick I beleive it has been around for thirty something years. You should check out Bob early stuff on the Stick its here in KZbin. I took guitar lessons from him in 1980 and while in between lessons he would always be practicing this instrument. I begged him to always play me a song before we would begin my lesson.

Yeah no as a slow one it works (but an anter dro might be easier with the way he played it I agree) It's more a musical interpretation tho
