Pure air breaking was a bit dodgy, perhaps the adjuster was tightened on it too much!? And just need to lean back more 🤷♀️
@jigzonyt5172 жыл бұрын
It has a very good brake and should be adjusted according to your preference. I notice they dont cover any segway scooters... My ninebot has a mag brake that is lethal at high speed if you're not used to it 😂 at slow speed its barely noticeable. I think your supposed to use the guard brake om the rear but i never do because i dont want to wear out the guard and tyre.

Pure E-Scooter (2nd Generation) brakes are really good! if you have control when breaking the back wheel wont go up in the air like shown in this video.

How does the SPLACH-SWIFT compare? It’s also 36v.

Hi there! We don't have any experience with this scooter as yet, however considering it's only 250W motor, it won't be able to cope with our selection in the treasure hunt.

What was the range of the pure scooter if anyone knows??
@ashleelmb2 жыл бұрын
It's a little bit disingenuous saying that the Xiaomi has a speed limiter of 15mph. But all Xiaomi scooters can be reprogrammed to go up to 20mph. I have a Pro 2 that I did this very thing on.
@MrAcoustic092 жыл бұрын
How do you do this thanks
@PersonalelectrictransportUk2 жыл бұрын
You can hack a Pro 2, but a 365 doesn't go a faster than that. It's also good to know you invalidate the warranty and sacrifice range when doing so.

Are you sure that’s the s+ not the gt?? The gt has a drum break and therefore break on the handlebars but the s+ doesn’t I thought. Mine (2020 model) certainly doesn’t! 🤷♀️

i was thinking that too, you are correct, you would have thought they would know what they are testing!😂

I don't know what to choose, I need a scooter who deliver, who climb easy with my 92 kg and not too heavy. In theory it would be 500w of pure air, comparing to 300-350w of the others, but the reality doesn't fits, this test shows me that pure air is a desaster in terms of climbing.

Do you mind if I ask how you are doing all of this legally? I am a massive supporter of e-scooters so don't think I'm one of those complainers :) just curious. Can't wait for these to be legal!
@PersonalelectrictransportUk3 жыл бұрын
Sure thing. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was one of the first places where Bird scooters were tested. There are other PLEV shops in the area and it's private land, so they seem to be quite lenient.

I'm a bit surprised and disappointed by the Pure on the hill climbing. It is specifically marketed as being good at that. Did not even look all that steep. I've not seen that as a point of criticism in other reviews and Electroheads put it in second place in their group test (same group?). Any idea what went wrong there? On a side note, that is not the pro version. I think about the only difference is the locking mechanism and the battery, which might not have had much of an impact on your tests (other than folding it). I don't have one so I'm not trying to fanboy the Pure, though it is on my shortlist. Largely due to other positive reviews and also Pure having a shop in my home town.
@PersonalelectrictransportUk3 жыл бұрын
We were surprised too...the reason why it didn't cope was because it was not in sport mode. So normal mode doesn't like hills, remember that if you're journey will be hilly.
@lordrobert63722 жыл бұрын
Should have did the hill test twice, it looks like he didn't kick start the pure air properly, the pure airs made for hill climb

That is absolutely not the Pure Air Pro 2nd gen lmao
@mad-pit38322 жыл бұрын
Thats not the second gen pure air pro, The pro folds down with one clip in 2 seconds. that messy screwing mechanism is only on the cheaper models. Also i dont think the e booster is the s model im pretty sure its the gt. You should be more accurate if you hope to secure sponsors in the future and with pure being the biggest brand in the uk your probably better off making true reviews.

@@aals9932 There great bro i have 2 of them aswell as a big scooter the only issue ive had is a stupidly sharp front break that lead to my boy falling off and snapping the break lever. I couldn't find one online but luckily pure sent one to me the next day free of charge.

This posting was done before December 13, 2021 obviously as escooters are banned from TfL. This almost cancels out escooters as a useful transport option in London.
@PersonalelectrictransportUk2 жыл бұрын
The government are currently working on new policy for private ownership, which of course will influence TfL. We are hopeful that that will definitely change soon.
