Amazing job by Ryan and his team as always. I've had the pleasure of having my E39 serviced here and they really do go above and beyond. I bet that Borla headers + exhaust sounds amazing. Hopefully the owner will post some vids so we can hear it!
@E39Source4 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! It was a different sound compared to other exhaust setups; the headers really steal the show. Single-wall headers give a lot of 'air' noise with more than ~1/4 throttle input which some people like and others don't. The x-pipe resonators kept it from being too loud or aggressive.

Awesome job Ryan! Have a 2000 Anthracite with Full Black/Red Sport interior. Still has the titanium shifter and e-brake handle, and black gauges. Looks like the original owner had the dealer do the TSB for the VANOS noise. I debated having that done under warranty but didn't want the techs tearing the engine bay apart. Hey Ryan, you guys did an amazing job with this car. It basically is like a midlife restoration so the owner can double its mileage without hesitation. One suggestion, is that the coolant reservoir sticks out and betrays the amazing condition of the rest of the car. Do you normally replace those? I find that it spruces up the engine bay significantly.

Thank you! We always recommend replacement of the yellowed expansion tanks, but it's purely a matter of cosmetics since failure is all but unheard of. It's not uncommon for people to conclude that those dollars are better spent elsewhere.

Hi Ryan, for my previous query, I read the subsequent comments and sort of got an idea of the cost of the repair. I have an ‘02 LMB that I would love for your shop to work on. I am the 2nd owner, acquired it in 2011 with 50k miles. It now has 63k miles. Drive it only in the summers here in Vancouver for obvious reasons. What it needs in repairs are missing pixels on the instrument cluster, driver’s seat “twist” and some weatherstripping refresh plus whatever mechanical service it requires at this mileage level. What I want on top of that is a BBK upgrade and a suspension linkage refresh. I installed PSS coil overs, a Corsa cat back exhaust and AFE cold air intake. How much time do you think will it take and what is your garage schedule these days? I am contemplating driving down there from Vancouver late spring/ early summer. Ordered a Bluebus from you a few years ago. Thanks for that.
