It looks lovely! The whatever counter was funny but ren fairs are really like that. Remembering the weird looks I got being out with an unusual hair style you might not want just go shopping. Years ago I was at the hair dressing school getting a trim. The student asked if she do an braided hair style as she still needed that for her final mark. It was a very lovely diagonal french braid that was more of a prom type style. She got her marks I got weird looks for the rest of the day!
