Hey Micarah, for future reference, the poofy inner sleeve isn't actually attached to the dress. It's just a folded piece of fabric you tuck inside the bigger sleeve, sometimes tied to a bit of ribbon at the elbow or pinned. Made them easier to clean and replace , but also means you don't have to put yourself through the hell of trying to stitch them. Sincerely A Tudor re-enactor

I love that you use bedsheets. That's a trick my mom taught me years ago 😊 they come in so many patterns and colors and are so much cheaper than buying material a lot of times. Using heavy duty zip ties as boning is actually genius 🤯

My local Ren faire is equal parts vikings, pirates, fairies, wizards, mermaids, and mythical creatures along with anything that may have been worn in any area of the world from about 900-1650. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Every year they try to narrow the definition of what is acceptable and every year people complain and wear their pirate fairy costumes anyway.
