This reminds me of a high school project in the late 70s to build a Color Organ. If I remember correctly, it ran off 110, and had three outlets to power 110v lights. Each channel could be adjusted for bass, mids, and treble. I would love to remake it, but I've have had little luck finding a schematic.

Yes, but... You would need to rectify the AC wave and attenuate it for your operating point.

Have you ever seen the movie 3 Ninjas? It's a kids movie from the early to mid 90's - one thing as an 80s kid that was in that movie always fascinated me, they had a red light bulb that would flash when someone is walking toward their bedroom because of a motion sensor in the hallway. Do you think you could show us how to do that? So someone moves through a hallway and it triggers a bright LED - like a aftermarket LED Red or BLUE vehicle dome light, heck maybe both as a bonus for watching to the end! Anyways I know there's a lot of ways of going about it, but what is the most simple ways with stuff we can maybe even salvage from around the house ❓ And it being battery powered! Challenge maybe? For some reason I keep thinking of all the outdoor cheapo solar lights I have that one thing or another is broke on them being used for parts for a build like this!
