This is a cutoff piece of Weeping Birch that I turned a bowl from a couple weeks ago. Not as punky but just as spalted. It can hold dried flowers and it has an interesting ledge that goes almost all the way around the top that would be a good landing spot for cute little figures. Finished in shellac.
