They’re not always top quality, or the most efficient, but the common craftsman is always the most peaceful.

They are not made by mold, so they are much more valuable. These would be very sought after. Just the right size and shape.

I would hesitate to use the description “not always top quality”. These potters are what I would call folk craft artists. The work is not meant to be highly sophisticated. The expression has simplicity; and is created with a lifetime of knowledge within this realm. We are far too obsessed with perfection.
