The film "Alphabet Killer" is based on the real events of the so-called "alphabet murders" that took place in Rochester, New York. In the center of the story is detective Megan Page, who investigates a series of brutal murders of young girls whose names and surnames begin with the same letters, and whose bodies are found in cities whose names also begin with the same letter. During the investigation, Megan begins to feel intense psychological pressure, which is exacerbated by her own tendency to schizophrenia. She encounters visions and visions that make her doubt her own adequacy and objectivity. Despite this, her determination does not allow her to stop halfway, because she wants to find the killer and stop the wave of terror that has engulfed the city.
"Alphabet Killer" is not just a thriller, but also a psychological drama that explores themes of investigation, mental health and personal struggle. The film received mixed reviews from critics, but interested the audience with its complex story and deep immersion into the inner world of the main trinianpal61 character.

Full of suspense, it is so easy to write off mediumship as a mental problem. I had my doubts about the guy in the wheelchair from the beginning. I know this was a movie, however it was well done and believable.

Where do detective story writers get their stories from? Mostly from research and mostly case files research. I have watched hundreds of detective mysteries and one very common event is when a detective is told they are obsessed with the case, they are told to drop the the case or back off or take a vacation and so, in the light of what I have previously said this must also commonly happen in real life detective investigations which is sad if it means that they were caused to fail in solving the case because their boss said drop it. When a case is solved the detectives find resolution and peace as much as the grieving relatives do.

the role of a lady cop with tendency to schizophrenia.should not have been allowed anywhere near the case . shes nothing but trouble , takes away the attention from the main story . she could have played a normal smart cop and helped with the case ., instead she has only derailed the case . and what a crappy ending

How did it not fit? It made way for #2, so many outcomes; The pastor and the guy were working together, the guy she shot in the foot is alive and what was first thought to be schizophrenic is actually a ‘supernatural vision’ gift she has and she sees him picking his prey, and the ghosts join her after it happens each time driving her to want to kill him and the voices and images are driving her to act delusionally as she first brought the attention of the cops to the PREIST, NOT her friend, so they had the wrong lead and no reason to suspect him, thus they never found their murderer and she continued to sound delusional to the point they medicated her so much she could no longer speak🙏.. hope that made sense 😫😂😂

If you are one of the delusional people (see Americans, Africans, Latin Americans ect.) that believe in the supernatural malarky; this movie is for you. For those of us who inhabit reality, not quite so much. That being said, for Hollywood, it is standard fare. Had they not resorted to the absurd supernatural shite it would have been a good movie. Excellent acting and production.

The female detective having schizophrenia contributed absolutely nothing to this film: she could just as well not have this illness and portrayed a police officer with a real flair for rooting out answers to questions that baffled the rest of the police. Still worth a watch. 7/10.

in the movies is nowadays too much ....some police´s or detective´s "illusions", unconseous mind thoughts~~~ and seeing some weird pictures" in the walls or table, like this one. I think its out of realism and facts....just something, what is from every persons own head...and so from the movies script. What writer put there, no more. Detectives are not fortune-tellers.
