I love how beautiful Benji talks about mama. I feel his love for Judy's mom through his words and actions- she become his mom too. Mama is looking down taking care of her daugher and beautiful son in law. Great tribute Benji! Mama will continue on through your cooking

My husband is an only child and ever since my mother in law passed last 2021, my husband was the one continuing her traditions during New Year and one of it is the 12 round fruits too. I guess its not just about the superstitious now, its about remembering them during this season too!

I’m only halfway through the video and Benji’s tribute had me bawling. I lost my fiancé a couple months ago and times like these where we’re able to reflect back and cherish these memories will always be such a bittersweet moment for me. It was also through my fiancés cooking I was able to connect truly to his culture and I hope to extend that to our baby as she grows up

I cried so much watching this. I lost my dad 3 years ago, he passed on New Year’s Day so everytime we ring in a new year it feels so bittersweet for me. I know mama is watching over you guys and I truly hope this year brings nothing but happiness, prosperity and good health for all of the Travis fam! 🤍🤍

It’s heartwarming seeing Judy and Benji talk about mama. It’s the same feeling I had with now 28 years since my mother passed away in three years since my father passed away, combined with the loss of my mother-in-law. Two years ago. Christmas is no longer feels full of joy The constant reminder of their engagement and memories put sharp pain pain in my heart and tears in my eyes People say it’s going to get easier, but I see getting harder. Only hope is knowing we shall meet them again in heaven soon Happy New Year, Judy and Benji, wishing you a blessings in 2024

I know it’s 12 days into the new year but oh Judy, I just had to comment. I know it must’ve been bitter sweet bringing in the new year without mama but it is clear to see, her spirit lives on in you and the girls and you and Benji’s home. Sewing really takes time to learn. I fid go to school and I started sewing everyday at home too until it became natural. I am a fashion designer now but I am always learning new techniques.

It’s been a rough year for us too, I lost my ninang and auntie in one year, plus a lot of work drama. But I’m glad the new year is here. I loved the tribute for mama, may she rest in gods hands and will never be forgotten. Happy new years!!

I commented a few times on some of your video asking about mama and her sickness since my dad had done dialysis as well. A few months ago, my dad passed as well from kidney failure. It’s the most heartbreaking thing I had to go through last year. Life is never the same.

I pray rosary everyday for 1 whole year after my mama left us. And i do talk about her as part of my healing. And it did help alot. I am still emotional everytime i remember her, and its ok. Your mom will still live on in your heart.

I still talk about my grandma even if she passed away 8 yrs ago and my grandpa 2yrs ago. It is part of grieving process. I find comfort watching your vlogs. Specially if you talk about Mama. Happy New year, Travis family! Here’s to healing and good health for 2024. ✨

No doubt anyone can learn online, but online classes is so different from an actual class (have we forgotten the pandemic when kids has to learn via zoom? ) because when you are in a physical class the teacher is there to guide you real time and you get to do set projects, not only that you get to build friendships with kids your age with similar interest in sewing or other activities.

@@itsJudysLife 👍🏼👍🏼Yes ! just search sewing classes for kids around your area. They are also taught about the sewing machine itself, parts etc and sometimes even how to troubleshoot. One important thing is...once you find an in person class, don't enrol her right away, instead go to the actual place and check it out & personally inquire about their classes, what is included in the fees?. Sometimes knowing what kind of projects one will learn at the end of each session is enough to encourage you to participate. Of course it'll be up to Keira if she's keen to be in an in person class💙👍🏼

Watching this after losing my grandma this morning (my mama). I cry every time you cry Judy & your video today still made me smile through all of the chaos. I asked that too. About my mom, she passed away 8 yrs ago. She has skin, heart & lungs cancer. My mom never ever drink, nor sun bathing, & nor smoke in her life but she got all these cancer in her body! It hurts and I don’t think that the grieving will go away!

Just wanted to say (don’t know if you see these) but wanted to try: please keep talking about your mom. We will never, ever (you hear me? Ever.) be “tired” of hearing about your mama. It gets harder before it gets easier and harder again. Grief is never ending but so is the love that shows up over and over in the most unexpected ways.

My mom is Korean and has a bunch of superstitions and this year when I was doing them, she goes “ what’s wrong with you, why you doing it” 😂I said, you’re the one that taught me lol . ((((((((Hugs))))))))) for everyone, Mama is definitely still with you. Happy New Year and many blessings ❤

Happy New Year guys! The family grew by two and all the girls have grown so much Julianna is practically 27! Her art is amazing and the twin chefs are such great helpers!!!
