Pete and I recently reconnected with one another long after highschool. He moved into a beautiful home and had been following our work on Facebook. We met and came up with a few ideas. We decided to do this awesome bubbling rock in their front entry way. I love when whenever we can welcome people to a home with the sound of running water!

I love when we can send our clients to the rock yard to pick their own rock to turn into a #waterfeature! In this case the stone was picked out last summer and set aside to be our first installation of this year! Curios how you mark your hole to drill. We drop a marker down or something pointy down the hole and scratch the surface of the basin.

The Aquascape basin we use is pre drilled but what you're describing would work otherwise 👍

Any reason you don't use a liner to catch the splash and return to basin and keep weeds from growing through the rocks? Love the downspout to top it off with rain water. Looks great

This feature didn't require extra liner because it's designed to hug the boulder so closely. For splashing we place some 6"-12" rocks in there to contain it. We don't use fabric for weeds we use preen, works way better in my opinion.
