Looks epic! Can’t wait for the full video. How was the trail into Whitmore? I’ll be out there with a couple friends at the end of the month. All full size trucks except one 4Runner.

The trail was in good shape. Graded gravel roads the first 60+ miles and the last 10 miles are just a bit rocky. Shouldn't be any problem for a stock 4x4. Only thing to be aware of is that those last 10 rocky miles are comprised of some pretty sharp lava rocks. We didn't have any issues, but dealing with a puncture is definitely a possibility. You'll love it out there. It's ridiculously beautiful

@@WheretoNextOverland awesome!! Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah i let everyone in my group know to make sure they have a spare along with them just to be safe, or at least puncture kits and sidewall repair kits. This is definitely a bucket list trip for me so I’m counting down the days.

Such a great adventure! I would love to do this on my bike. Is there a chance you could post a map so I can see it and create a route my ONX Offroad?
@WheretoNextOverland6 ай бұрын
I don't really have a cohesive map to share, but this route was created using parts of 3 different overlandtrailguides.com routes. Gold Butte, North Rim Traverse and Sonoran Desert Traverse. Their routes are awesome and (IMO) totally worth the small annual fee
