Oh hi! Glad you enjoyed my neck of the woods. I belong to the Thorney island sailing club so can drive onto the island. The club is next to the church you visited. Lots of army weddings still at the church. Too bad it was low tide though and yes lots of seals in the area and spitfires.

Hi Claire, what a fabulous place for a retreat away from it all, the village was very pretty but I imagine damp!! We've had the most horrendous rain and storms in the North East of England, cold and windy too, so you definitely had the best of the weather x
