An evening monitoring Russian groundforce military signals

I take a trip out to the remote barn in the Peak District to monitor some military radio signals. I wanted to find out if there's any increased radio activity on the Russian military ground force frequencies.
I get to hear some counter activity being transmitted on the frequency known as the Buzzer. I'm not sure whether the music/noises being played is radio trolling by amateurs or something more strategic.
If you want to find out a little more about these frequencies and how to monitor military radio signals, this link is useful: priyom.org/mil...
I'm a licensed amateur radio operator from the United Kingdom. My KZbin channel features videos focusing on operating portable radio from various locations plus how to videos, tutorials, insights and conversations in the hobby.

Hi. Karl. I am a short wave listener since 1969 from South Africa. But living on the island of Cyprus for many years. My radio Sangean ATS 909 X. Icom R70. JRC 525. Using long wire antenna. Plus ciao loop antenna from Italy. I have a mini whip antenna but it's prone to RFI. Many thanks for your time. Best wishes and 73 Costa Constantinides limassol Cyprus.

SDRs will pick up RFI from the host computer if you try to use an indoor antenna. Learned that the hard way. They work well on a good outside antenna. I use an SDRPlay model, but I like my Icom R70 better. I found the FM board for it and will sell everything else before the R70.

I really like the Peak District that you go to, to play radio. It sure has all the requirements to make your radio outing very pleasant, I have to admit Carl, I really do enjoy your cooking segments, along of course with playing radio (hi-hi). Just keep doing them, I find your radio adventures very joyful, and peaceful.

Hi Carl. We’ve gotten the big winds here in the Northeast USA over the weekend as well... Everything you cook on your outing adventures always look so good. Did you ever consider doing a video and going into more detail about the dishes you are preparing? Kind of a cooking show, giving us the ingredients, amount to use, and how long to cook. I’ve gotten much bolder on my campsite cooking, but am in no way close your culinary masterpieces! Show us how to prepare some of those good looking meals!

The Russians routinely use ham (radio amateur frequencies). They have been doing so since Soviet times. Especially the Russian Navy. Tune into 3596 Kilohertz CW in the late afternon and into the evening from say 1500 UTC and you will hear Russian Navy Black Sea Fleet Sevastopol, Crimea transmitting Morse to the fleet, both in plain text for weather and coastal warnings and also cipher messages later on. You may have to use an SDR nearer to Russia to pick up the signals.
