An evening of Azerbaijan in Cologne

An evening of Azerbaijan was organized within the project "Promotion of Azerbaijan", on November 20, 2013 in the city of Cologne of Germany, with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and assistance by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany.
At an event organized in the historical Gürzenich Culture Hall of the city, an art exhibition entitled "Germany through an artist's eyes" comprised of works drawn by young artists that have never been to Germany, using their imagination of this country, and a photo exhibition reflecting the life of Germans living in Azerbaijan were demonstrated. The guests were presented dishes from the national cuisine of Azerbaijan, various books related to Azerbaijan's history, culture and art published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as well as CDs with Azerbaijani mugham, jazz, classic and variety music.
A concert by the State Chamber Orchestra of Azerbaijan named after Gara Garayev took place after the event.
