I live in Chesapeake and I’m a BIG city kid. I love New york and have been there a few times bc I’m a big city lover. I’ve always associated subways/metro lines to big cities. SO THANK YOU NORFOLK FOR THE TIDE, IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE IM IN NEW YORK RIDING THE SUBWAY THROUGH MANHATTAN. IT SCRATCHES THE ITCH 🫡

I rode this one time 10 years ago when my family and I went to Nauticus. It was such a fun experience! I would do it again!

I've ridden the Tide a ton, being that I live in Norfolk and I use it when I go to MacArthur Mall downtown. The best stop to get off at for the mall is MacArthur Square, because then you've got Dillard's right there across the street once you get off the train.

Yep it does! It's a pretty short line, but it was a neat ride.

I ended up here because I've wanted to view what it's like to ride on this Light rail. But whoever recorded this video only recorded looking out the window. I still don't know what the inside of the light rail looks like. I am handicap and would like to take my scooter if I went to the MacArthur Mall but would I be able to or are the isles not wide enough for the scooter....I still have no idea.

I had an obsession with trains when I was a little and I lived really close to the tide so me and my dad are you still going to ride it from one end of the track to the other all the time just for fun

NJ Transit in Camden, NJ still uses a choking diesel train that goes through the city. The Tide is awesome compared to that.

@@xxyyxx2871 light rail would be perfect for Richmond especially downtown now downtown to me is shokoe bottom, broad street, jackson ward ,the museum district the fan district carytown, then you have scotts addition Wow then you could ride up to willow lawn ,regency square and all the way up to short pump light rail would be perfect for Richmond.

I always thought Milwaukee was too small of light rail. Richmond is even smaller.
