Why Christians Should be Involved in
Seeking Social Justice
Citizens for Public Justice and the Vancouver School of Theology are excited to bring you an evening with Tony Campolo. Willard Metzger, CPJ’s executive director, will join Tony to explore “Why Christians should be involved in seeking social justice.” Together, we’ll look at look how churches can work towards ending poverty in Canada, seeking climate justice, and protecting refugee rights.
Reverend Dr. Anthony Campolo is professor emeritus of sociology at Eastern University and a former faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania. For 40 years, he led the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education, an organization that he founded in order to create and support programs serving needy communities.
More recently, Dr. Campolo has provided leadership for the progressive Christian movement, Red Letter Christians, as well as, for the Campolo Center for Ministry, a program that provides financial support, training, and mentoring to those the Church has called to full-time ministry.

Hello from France, Thanks for sharing this event. I began reading Tony Campollo's books 30 years ago in my 20's. Life went by, and I just came across this video by accident this morning looking for a boardgame review... I couldn't switch it off until the end. Such a great way to speak the truth, thanks !!
