My desire for an Ewoks village in 3.75 is growing during this 40th anniversary celebratory year of Return of the Jedi! Perhaps we'll get something in the regular line... alas it would be interesting to see what they'd cook up for Haslab!
Nevertheless, it's looking like the Star Wars 3.75 Vintage Collection Haslab reveal will be the Ghost from Rebels... yet it's still always interesting to discuss other options! O.O.K 😉👌🏼💙

I took my 1983 Ewok Village all apart. I cleaned it up. I now display. It’s in mint condition with all the accessories. I would buy the either of the hazlab projects.

Think Haslabs going forward will be related to new media. Razor Crest came out when Mando was in its peak and now the Ghost will come out as it will be in Ashoka. Hopefully we’ll still get Original trilogy and prequel trilogy Haslabs in the future 🤞🏼

The shuttle would fit the RTJ anniversary like the village playset. Much like the AT ST and bunker we got. I like the Ghost but it is a pretty large ship and probably won’t be cheap. Though alot of people want it and no doubt it would fund.

I think Hasbro want to link this Haslab to new media. I guess the argument could be made you could have an Ewok action scene around the bunker and/or use the vintage Ewok village if you wanted to. It will be interesting to see to what extent ‘ Boba Fetts’ throne room type playsets happen in the future (ie what gap they might look to fill with that type of set). I think also covid might have resulted in us losing a Haslab (supply chains issues etc) somewhere along the line. I’m all in for the Ghost - as long as the series is good (throne room will work despite the issues with the series because most people will use it a Jabba playset).

I was all in on the 6” line until realizing jabbas palace goons are probably not going to be made. So I sold 95% of 6” collection and went all in on 3.75. The desert Skiffs alone, along with palace/skiff guards available now and the upcoming 4 pack denizen set. ohhh man.

I know it's going to be The Ghost, but I'd much prefer an Ewok Village HasLab. I have no room for a Ghost, but already have a shelf devoted to the Endor figures, so could make room for an Ewok Village on there. You're missing a few Ewoks, I didn't see the baby one in the basket.

I would much rather have the Ewok village than the Ghost & it makes more sense for Hasbro to do it: - it's the 40th anniversary of ROTJ - this would finish the year off in style. - they have already offered multiple complimentary items for the village just this year - the bunker, AT-ST, speeder bike & several ROTJ figures. Many other figures that work with it are out in the world. - Hasbro likes to make playsets that bring in as many figures as possible - the Ghost was only ever shown with what, 8 different characters in it? Other than Ahsoka, none of those characters are currrently in The Vintage Collection & who knows how long it will take Hasbro to get to them. - Despite the trailer, we have no confirmation that the ship is in fact in the new show (though it probably will be). Who knows what kind of presence it will have. - According to Wookiepedia, the Ghost is larger than the Millenium Falcon - I'm not sure that translates well to the asking price. - Additional tiers would be easier to accomplish for the Village - tooling already exists for the Ewok glider & catapult for example. What are the additional tiers for the Ghost going to be - a flight stand? The Ghost would be cool down the road, but let's see how it does in the show as well as getting some figures for it made first. I would still rather have the Sandcrawler be the next vehicle.

1/18 scale is what we grew up with its the correct scale i dont understand why hasbro wants to push for larger scales is it cheaper to mold or why do they keep trying,if your entire collection was 6 inch you wouldnt have the space for it unless you had an entire house for it

3.75 scale or 6 inch it don't matter anymore Hasbro is starting to lock both vehicle scales behind crowd funded paywalls, so if that's what going on Darth vaders tie advanced is a good one in 6 inch black series but for me I wish Hasbro would bring back the giant size hero series!

I could've star it was... from like a really early Millennium Falcon concept, but I guess I got mixed up. There's no chance at all that I will back a Ghost Haslab. It's great for the people who want it, but I'll pass. The only thing I would look forward to with that is getting a really nice Zeb figure in TVC. I would love to see an Ewok Village, but Hasbro would have to go big. Make it 4-5 feet tall, three or four stories, with enough space underneath to park the AT-ST.

The problem with the Ghost is very few figures can interact with it. That's what makes the Sail Barge or Jabba's Palace so great; dozens of figures available to recreate moments from the movies. Ewok Village or Cantina would make a lot more sense than an Imperial Shuttle, because, let's face it, not a lot happens with the Imperial Shuttle in the movies.

There was a large crew for the Ghost. And I'm sure we'll see a lot of interaction in the Asoka series. The imperial shuttle has been shown in return of the Jedi, the Mandalorian and comic books. So that's a much needed vehicle as well. I'm hoping we get an updated one next time.

I have the phantom shuttle to go with the GHOST if it happens. No interest in the ewoks village not even the original 80s era village . I never had or knew about the shuttle back in the 80s only the mini rig isp-6 version and the model kit .

My second choice, after the Ewok Village, is a huge Hadlab Death Star playset. I want an 8 level playset that stands 4 feet tall. I would pay $1000 for that. Of how about scanning the original and increasing the size and re-releasing the Kenner Death Star for the 6 inch figures?

I think when it comes to 6 inch lines it should be stuff where it always worked from the beginning. Lines like Marvel Legends or lines for the DC Universe worked well in six inch compared to 3.75 because it seems like they were always made for that scale and plenty of people have for years been able to make displays and props for them with the Articulated Comic Book Art label. Whereas Star Wars has always really existed in the 3.75 scale from the start and it's really only worked in there. I'm sure there are people who enjoy the 6 inch line but it is over produced it seems. People talk about peg warmers in 3.75 I imagine it's even tougher in 6 inch scale since they get so much more. It's all about balancing the scales and when it comes to Star Wars displays the 3.75 inch line always will be at the top and has been for so many years now. Some of the videos I enjoyed watching when I was younger when I was a collecting where Star Wars figure videos and one day I really dreamed on having my collection on display the way you do now or people like Toys Are The Way and No Skills Customs do with their massive dioramas and they've done a lot of cool work building stuff for Endor displays and other cool displays that aren't just limited to scenes from the films which is the best part of using your imagination to create your own stories. Hopefully someday I'll be able to get it all back up and also catch up in getting these amazing figures. But yeah an Ewok village would look cool and would be a good update to that original playset from all those years ago. They actually recycled it when making figures for the Robin Hood film in the 90s. Kenner liked to reuse things for other toylines it seems. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next video.

3D modeling has no scale, until you print it. Landspeeder Luke makes files, he personally collects black series so thats what he has in mind, but it has absolutely no bearing on what scale someone else prints it at.

This allows anyone to print cool designs in whatever size they want. You were saying he should make them FOR 3.75”, it’s exactly the same, there’s no difference between making them for 6” vs 3.75. With regard to modeling, it’s exactly the same. There isn’t really a “for”, aspect to it. Unlike manufacturing which has a defined size and scale.

Im pointing out that Luke makes amazing files, and they are accessible to anyone with a printer(I strongly recommend you get one), I too absolutely love 3.75” and don’t bother with 6” in any way. That being said, I think the fact that Luke collects 6” IS the reason why he makes so many files. In a sense, there’s a lot less “work to be done” in 3.75”, as in terms of play sets, 6” is heavily lacking. This essentially what is likely inspiring him to make the files he makes, because they don’t exist for his collection, if he switched to collecting 3.75”, there would be a lot less to tackle. So by him collecting 6”, he is constantly putting out amazing files that we (often) benefit from as well. Does that make sense? I am also a person that makes 3d files, many of my head sculpts are created with 3.75” in mind, but my Hot Toys 1/6th scale friends benefit from them too. What matters is that the files are created. After that anyone can print at whatever size they choose. If Luke was a 3.75” collector, he wouldn’t need so many files, a lot of what he does, is simply him taking matters into his own hands since 6” doesn’t get the world building stuff. 3.75” can enjoy whatever files he makes.

As a result, Luke makes it, BECAUSE it doesn’t exist in 6”. Boom, 3.75” gets a new awesome ewok village to print now too. Sane can be said for yoda’s hut. We have one, its old but it exists. Black series doesn’t have one at all, so Luke creates it, its awesome and boom, every other scale benefits too. He’s creating world building files, because 6” doesn’t get these kinds of things , does that make sense?

The biggest issue with Ghost in 3.75 scale is the size and therefore cost. If the Ghost is $600USD or more the number of backers is low. Did Hasbro say it was going to be TVC or even figure based project eg. The failed Inquisitor lightsabre? If it is the Ghost it maybe in a smaller scale bur I don't know if Hasbro has the market for that either.
