immigrants cross hell and high water to get here for a chance at a job for a chance to live in peace for a chance to realize a dream. They face horrible odds and quite possibly slow deaths at sea. These people often speak two languages and are very intelligent. I believe in one world with no borders, what man has the right to draw a line in the sand, and say you can't come on this side of it. Earth and all its Glory belongs to all men. I'm an American I'm too stupid to speak two languages, And I ain't got the balls to take a boat like that out past the sight of land even with a cell phone in my hand and life jackets. These people do it with nothing, you got to give them the credit they have really earned the right to live here. We need to normalize all relations with Cuba and open up trade and travel. If we want to encourage Cuban to become a Democratic Society then we should lead by example. The same in Venezuela. There's always going to be those spoiled people jumping up and down screaming to to sue Castro and his government. That was forever ago welcome to the 21st century let's move on past damn embargoes and sanctions. I for one would love to visit Cuba because it's got to be so much different than this black God forsaken hell in the Florida Keys. Overpopulated over fished and overrun with tourist who don't know how to keep their boats in the water. Viva Cuba Viva Venezuela.

You know, I grew up watching channel 10. When I was a kid, my parents would literally get mad if they caught us watching another news channel ESPECIALLY channel 7. The older I get, the more I realize channel 7 doesn't give a fluck who committed the crime, they'll gladly put it up. Channel 10 on the other hand is VERY selective about the news they expose their watchers to. If you follow everything channel 10 says they'll have you thinking there's only one group of criminals in South Florida meanwhile the dish is running away with the entire china cabinet. You guys need to do better. Posting things you think will boost your ratings isn't how you keep the community informed.

@@edwardroche2480 That's because they refused to report it. Evidently 9 white folks were found in Haulover. 8 of them were being smuggled. Border Patrol blurred their faces when they took the picture so we don't know who they are and no mention of them being sent back from whence they came. A gun and $32k in cash was seized. Had these been Haitians or Cubans they wouldn't have censored anything and Channel 10 would have made sure to send their people out for a story. With this situation they don't want anyone to know white people are being smuggled to the US. They're more worried about ratings than they are about keeping the community informed. Couple months ago there were some broad daylight ATM robberies going on. The perps were caught on camera robbing an old man as he was withdrawing cash. But because the perps were white, they buried that story faster than a squirrel with a nut. They pander to their viewers. They know who predominantly watches their newscasts and I'd imagine they use the comments here to figure out who those people are.
