An excursion to Shemshak Ski Resort in Tehran, Iran's Most Popular Skiing Park
Shemshak Ski Resort is located 57 kilometers northeast of the Iranian capital of Tehran, and is located in the city of Shemshak. The ski resort is about a 90-minute drive away from Tehran
Shemshak is a ski resort situated to the north-east of Tehran in the Alborz mountain range.
Shemshak is the second largest ski area in Iran after Dizin and Darbansar. It came into operation in 1958. It includes two chairlifts and three surface lifts.[1][2] The slopes lie at an altitude of 2,550 m to 3,050 m above sea level. The resort includes two main slopes each with a chair lift that apex at the top and several lifts. There are no lighting facilities for night skiing.
Shemshak has classically catered to more advanced skiers while Dizin has drawn beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers. The slopes are quite steep and many of the runs are mogul runs.

How can you make publicity for a slope without mentioning its correct name? It has been a few years that tthe government put three villages together under the name of Shemshak: Shemshak, Darbandsar and Dorud, in order to register them as the city of Shemshak so that people with connection at the Islamic Regime can make towers (high buildings) without city infrustructures such as sewage and portable water. They closed Shemshak ski slope under the pretext of having old lifts while one of the lifts of Darbandsar is also from 1979. So the movie that you repeated 10 times in this video clip belongs to Darbandsar Ski slope and not resort (A resort should have hotels and other insfrustructure that Darbandsar lacks), There are old lifts working and maintained all around the world even in Austria and Switzerland.
