I am amazed to how much work you go through to make your videos. Getting on and off the tractor to set up your camera. I do videos with my canoe. So I know how much work it is. Thank you for working so hard to show us what you do. I watch Pete on his channel. And also Country View Acers. You all work so hard. Thank you so much. Stay safe!

For the filters list, I take the top of the box for the filter with the numbers and write on the back what vehicle (or equipment) it is for with capacity, put it in a zip lock bag and leave it in the vehicle glove box or in the top of the tool box. All info together in one place. Guess you could also hang the bags on a hook with a binder clip.

Dude; I hope you get to keep that LS; it fits your ranch pretty darn good. Also, it’s awesome that you tried the vetch, it’ll be fun to watch. Annual ryegrass would be awesome too, and it makes good feed.

Alfalfa smells heavenly! I remember well the times we mowed the alfalfa fields and loved every minute of it. Some folks may not realize that humans can eat the sprouts. It's very nutritious and taste wonderful. What smells better than a freshly plowed field or a fresh field of cut alfalfa? Nothing in my opinion. I miss the farm so much. I yearn for those days again. But, I went and got old. 😂 That's ok. I'm still on top of the ground and I feel honored for the blessings from the Lord.

I saw you pouring herbecide and then oil and can I suggest that you turn the jug on its side when possible? That keeps it from glugging so bad and will prevent spillage some. Just goes better in my opinion. always watching from Oklahoma!

I’ve planted the 3 way with the vetch already in it from Baglietto in Stockton, the first time it didn’t come up and this was right after Blackeye Beans, the next time it grew but I got the same price per ton as my beardless, so we stayed down that path. Feeding your own hay probably would be a better deal growing that. The other mix that I have seen here in the valley is vetch, peas & Faba beans.

Don't know much about raising cattle, but I do know a little botany and chemistry. I believe vetch contains cyanogenic glycosides and can cause neurologic and dermatitic issues. Not sure of the rate of consumption needed to cause problems, so I can't state if it would be an issue for your herd. Enjoy your videos!

I always rinse my engines...Remove oil, put the oil plug back in, dump a gallon of diesel into the engine, push and push on the vehicle to swish the diesel around, than empty it out...I do it twice and the new oil stays cleaner, longer.

I planted winter rye once had hairy vetch mixed in it. 45 years later I still have hairy vetch in that field. If it ripens it will reseed itself.

Did you worm that bucket calf? I'd use fenbendazole since you can buy the horse wormer paste and use it. I wormed our scrubby looking bucket calves and it made a big difference. Also, get a female cat to go with those toms. They are better mousers and once she starts having kittens you'll always have a plentiful supply of mousers.

May I share with you, Tyler, and our KZbin family here, a very good small family dairy farm channel I am enjoying? It's located in the close-by region where I live. This farm is run on the fundamental concept of making every penny count -- nothing is wasted. Same as FTR's value system. Thanks for letting me make this suggestion! GierokFarms is the channel.
