Hey everyone- this comment is way after the fact haha I just wanted to point out that I totally appreciate the Butterfly MV and understand the lack of choreo in it. I realize what I said may have come across as not caring for the diverse culture and girl power in the music video and that's not what I meant. I love the Butterfly MV as it is but I guess I just mean I wish there was a performance mv for it! :)

Loonatheworld has a playlist that’s in chronological order of their mvs (includes all solos, subunits, and the full group). I recommend their music they have worked w producers like grimes, Daniel Caesar and many more! Also recommend reading the descriptions of the mvs.

Best way to get to know the girls names and faces is through their solo music videos. I honestly learned each of them after only watching it once, then twice for those I might have gotten confused for the first time. Unlike a lot of girl groups all the girls of LOONA actually look way different than one another. Other than Haseul and YeoJin who were once known for looking alike. But our maknae YeoJin is growing up so they’re starting to look a bit different now that she’s growing into her features. And LOONA’s triplet Line Hyunjin, Choerry, and Olivia Hye. But it’s really easy. No need to study learning names and faces tooo hard. Colors and Animals took a little while for me to remember as well though.

OH ALSO twinfish and daebak jjang have great analysis vids of each mv from loona. Super in-depth and helpful bc the mvs are CHALK-FULL of symbolism and “mise en scene” that expands the lore of the loonaverse. Its impossible to catch it all without the help. It’s a lot but to me it’s so exciting bc content with complexities is more engaging and a form of entertainment you can absorb for a longer period of time without getting bored lmao. And it keeps you busy if there’s a loona drought which is what we are having rn.

Great as always! I personally think Loona’s B-sides tend to be better than the chosen title tracks (esp. the OT12/album B-sides), so maybe if you have the time, you can check those out?

Loona’s all about going out of the norm and not sounding like generic kpop, that’s why their music sounds kind of weird

one of the composers for "Hi High" is Wakisaka Mayu, she has also worked in "knock knock" and "candy pop" by Twice, I guess "hi high" gives off her vibe (?). Btw I'm really enjoying your reactions!

Hi High gives me Girls Generation “Gee” vibes and it makes me love it even more. Like second generation vibes. And favorite reminds me of a Beyoncé song but I can’t remember the song

Honestly if you just watch all their solo music videos (and maybe even sub units) you naturally learn all their names, colours and animals easily.
