ViewSonic TD1655 is a portable touchscreen monitor - which is a rarity. The entire design of the portable monitor is very nicely-thought out, especially for mobile, tablet and laptop users.
Don't get us wrong - we love this monitor though, just that there are a few things to take note of.

it is actually a blessing for such device without a "built in" battery. "Built in" rechargeable battery mean the your expensive LCD monitor will only last as long as the "rechargeable battery" which could be less than 3 years.

I read on Amazon review that the touch screen only works if we setup the ViewSonic as mirror image to the main machine its connected to (instead of extended monitor) . Is that correct? Thanks

I just bought this product yesterday.. and I regret my decision of buying viewsonic TD1655 instead of Lenovo M14T because of these: - TD1655 does not autorotate (if you want to read PDF on TD1655, it has to be done in Landscape mode😭 no one comfortably read document in landscape mode anyway😓) - even if u set TD1655 as an extension screen, you cannot set it to portrait (whenever u right click at this extension screen, the right click menu arrays on the MAIN SCREEN, not the extension.. maybe its just me who doesnt know how to set TD1655 in portrait mode) - 250nits with glossy finish sucks🙃 I met my clients this morning in the room with a decent lighting (not too bright), and the TD1655 reflects badly.. me & my clients have a minor difficulty because of it. just go with Lenovo M14T and you won't experience those kind of regrets 😂

Hi, have you ever tried s20's smart view with the monitor and instead of horizontal, the monitor would be in portrait mode? So that it captures the whole screen unlike the one you shot in the video? Where it was just in the middle and the left and right are black?

Your last sentence is correct. This portable monitor doesn't have an accelerometer so it can't autorotate even though you put the monitor horizontally.

It does work, but you'll need to install additional software. Everything can be found in ViewSonic's website.
