Great video. I got the Evil Energy's myself and hopefully I don't have any issues with leaks. I'm replacing my 98 Cherokee's transmission lines because the OEM configuration likes to leak at the tranny connectors, whether it's because the part was a Dorman or not.

That's real life right there. It doesn't matter how small the job is, when you are working on an old car some kind of problem always pops up. Especially an engine swapped car. Every little thing is a headache. As far as the AN fittings go I have used literally hundreds of Russell brand fittings and never had a single problem. Thanks for the heads up on the Evil Energy fittings. This is a good video.

I was an aircraft plumber for Beechcraft on the Beechjet and Premier Jets. I have a lot of experience with AN fittings. Most leak from the flares having a burr or imperfections, second from the thread tolerance, and lastly, NOT lubricating with the oil of the system, such as using VVP or hydraulic oil to lubricate the fuel fittings. ALL fittings must be lubricated before install, otherwise it will promote leak. Also, make sure torque is adhered to. If you have any questions hit me up. Atomic- you are 100% correct.

You do too much good work to not have as much followers as those who do far less… I know why though, but keep it up man.

Ive had good luck with the speedway motors stuff. Have it on my ride for 3 years and no leaks. Not sure who makes it for them.

First, it's evil energy, not evil angel. I wouldn't use a fitting from a company with such poor quality control that they are producing such inconsistent parts. The metal used, as well as the smoothness and tolerance of the tooling is what you pay for with an AN fitting. I would stick with US made, quality fittings and hoses: Russell, Earl's, Fragola, etc. I use parts from Earls, who supplies Aerospace and military fittings to the people who can't have them fail. If you buy quality, you'll never replace them. Just make sure whatever company is making the parts you use acts as a vendor for some aircraft company and you'll be fine.

Why not use steel fittings from hydraulic shop? Just wondering, do you use the evil fuel filters?
