THE GRIT FREEDOM CHAIR'S ANTI-TIP BARS, STEERING PEGS, AND TRAIL ASSIST/ROLLOVER PROTECTION BARS: ARE THEY WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY?
Straight talk with real-world examples while traveling over extremely difficult, mountain terrain.
After a phenomenal 3-day, solo wilderness camping, fishing, and wheelchair hiking adventure exploring an 8-mile section along Burney Creek in the Shasta/Trinity National Forest, I decided to share some of my video clips, along with my first-hand experiences, and how the FC's anti-tip bars, steering pegs, and trail assist/rollover protection bars performed.
Also discussed are ways to get yourself out of tight and tricky situations, when to power up and over obstacles versus when to slowly work your way around them, how to mount your FC from the ground, as well as from a chair and/or wheelchair, how to repair/re-adjust your trail assist/rollover protection bars after a backover flip, and how to pick the best line through difficult and uneven terrain.
Whether you are a hardcore adventure seeker like me and push yourself and your FC to the absolute limits, or you simply use your FC to explore the depths and long-forgotten corners of your own backyard, if you've ever flipped or worried about flipping (or flopping for that matter), you'll want to watch this video!
