An Honest Review of the New Superlight 2 DEX

The firmware is out and I can confirm the 8000hz polling rate! The Super light 2 also received an update giving it 8k as well 😁 the other mouse I showed in the beginning will also support 8k polling rate when they release a dongle for it in the future! On further note about the DEX I will say it’s the most comfortable mouse so far.

​@@penzuugi This. Everyone around talking viper v3 pro its just better gpx 2, but in real life viper v3 pro is a way more bulky in hand because its WIDER and flatter on the hump. So if you dont know all grip points you use while aiming - all reviews will be pointless. Actually, 90% reviewers dont know which points of the shape really matters.

scroll wheel on my DAV3 broke after a few months, and I've been having issues with their keyboards before so I'm definitely gonna try this instead of buying a second razer mouse

I use a hybrid palm-claw-fingertip grip, too. So the line of mice I find to my absolute liking is narrow to say the least. Add to that the MMO/Moba/ARPG genres and ... _Yeah._

The point about the Dex being so large as to hinder smaller adjustments sounds about right. Reminds me of the days when I used an EC1. These days an EC2 size is just plain better as it allows far more dexterity. (Main is an Xlite V3 eS) Seems like a mouse made for the EC1/Intellimouse 3.0 people who play almost exclusively CS and other slow shooters. For everyone else, a Lamzu Thorn/Outset AX/Xlite/Stormbreaker is almost certainly a better pick in the ergo market.

Sadly may have to agree with you. I main the EC2 and thought that logitech finally may have released a worthy replacement. But I agree that microadjustments are not as crisp compared to the ec2

If you love the 1st gpro wireless I'd go with the other mouse I show at the start? It will have 8khz polling rate if you get a dongle for it :)

I have a superlight. The scroll wheel is worthless. When I scroll one direction it moves both directios. When I zoom in on Google maps it goes crazy in and out. Sometimes it ends zoomed in and sometime I'm more zoomed out than when I started zooming. Changing weapon in Warzone works sometimes and that makes me lose a lots of fights.

yes. yes. yes. mouse shapes are usually rarely talked about because superlight 2 is so flat and straight making it so hard to grip it. “ambidextrous” is probably one of the biggest scam in mouse history IMO.

My favorite mouse is the Shroud edition mouse as well. Perfect consistent grip everytime. Hand size is 19.5 x 10cm. But i developed wrist problems and had to give up most gaming especially fps and aim training for almost a year + a new job. I tried the Pulsar v3, razor DA and Viper, Zowie palm mice, and lamzu maya x, and the OP1 4k. The only two mice that didnt hurt were the v3 medium size 2 and dex. But it makes me angry the DEX costs almost 2x the pulsar v3. The v3 is just a millimeter too short on the palm rest area. I will try and wait for the pulsar x3 b cause the pulsar shape feels great althought maybe slightly straining when i switch to claw.

You absolute ritght is about the grip ...i had more then 65 but after 15years of gaming my lovley baby is still the corsair Harpoon wireless the shape the, the form unbeatable for me!

I've found my super pro 2 struggles to connect and stay connected sometimes. I've removed USB drivers and reinstalled them, tried redownloading the Logitech hub but it's not improved. I even got the USB device not recognized a lot and have applied all the fixes for that. It's a shame because it worked fine for a year. So the idea of buying another Logitech is off-putting.

They need to get rid of the PowerPlay puck/internals to reduce weight, better the QC and fix the mushiness of the side buttons. I wouldn't get this mouse for the price, about the only good thing about it other than shape is battery life Logi mice have. Logi needs to do better.

you should try the vaxee np-01s! I love mine for the shape having a bit of a longer curve on the right side, and a concave curve on the right side, but the smaller size and flat top hump is great for me to have the best of both worlds. ergo design but a lower profile, smaller size.

This is why I never go for large ergo mice. Small ergo mice allows me to micro adjust better, and I can still have ergo features. Some of the best shapes I've used are Model D-, EC3-C, Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed, and of course Lamzu Paro which is a killer mouse

I've been using the Superlight for years and have also tried every Razer Viper and DeathAdder, including the latest ones. However, I always end up going back to the Superlight. The new Viper V3 is a fantastic mouse, but it feels too narrow for my liking. A while ago, I used to prefer right-hand-only mice, but for some reason, I can't use them anymore. I feel like I have less control.

I do not feel like ever touching a Logitech mouse after my Superlight 1's scroll wheel broke after like 2 months. The Superlight 2 switches are meh at best from what I heard. I switched to the OP1 8K and I guess will never have to buy a mouse again...

Kinda expected you not to like it since you complain about the g pro x 2 and coming from the aground mouse. If you have issue with the ambi shape you would have more issue with the ergo especially you are on high edpi. Makes sense but I wonder if this is going to give the razer deathadder v3 pro and the new hyperspeed (mini version of it) a run for its money. I don’t play tracking heavy games no more so ergo is fine with me.

They do look exactly like the superlight 2, yes! Keep in mind that the SL2 skates differs from the SL1.

Logitech is very outdated and overpriced. I'm saying this even tho I used gpx since release and now gpx 2. For me it's to small, but had to get gpx2 because of usb c and I already knew the shape. The sensor also stutters on my new ESP Tiger Tang Dao mousepad, so dont get a silky smooth feeling mousepad if gpx2 dex has the same sensor

⁠the beast x max literally cost $10 cheaper, has worse wireless implementation, has a worse sensor, and overall is not fully magnesium. It's like a blend of aluminum and magnesium some shit like that. The mouse itself is good but you're making it seem like it's half the price of the gpro2. There is a reason why alot of pro gamers use the superlight 2 and razer branded products. They have better sensor and wireless implementation. WL mouse customer service also sucks. Meanehile you could get another gpx2 the next day 🤷‍♂️
