Love your points ! I also think that it’s so disappointing when people look down on others for attending not an “amazing institution” everyone has their own path. The college you get into doesn’t define who you are, it defines who you were in high school and your test scores

Yeah I totally agree! I live in Virginia and we have a great community college system, but people don’t make nearly as much use of it out of shame 😕 I’ve also heard people say that others are “punching below their weight” so to speak but their talents still carry over to that smaller institution, not to mention you get access to honors colleges, scholarships, etc

I just started studying for my AP psych exam an I am really nervous and honestly do not feel prepared enough to take it on Monday. Do you think I should take the makeup exam in June? Also, does it look bad if you take the makeup exam especially since our teachers will be receiving them later? I’m just scare and embarrassed for taking it so late but what is your opinion on taking the makeup?

Jannah Abdelhamid Hey Jannah! If you do not feel prepared to take it on Monday, it is A-OK to take it in June. Just please make sure you do not use your e-ticket sent to you for the May date, and they will send you another one automatically for June. And no it doesn’t look bad at all! I am taking Macroeconomics in June too, since I haven’t started studying yet 😬 There is nothing to be embarrassed about and frankly you want to be confident come test day. The only caveat I’d mention is that if you experience a technical difficulty in June there are no later dates for you to retest, so make sure you’ve got everything in check.

I was just actually thinking about how in June if there is a technical difficulty there’s no other way to take the test and everything is wasted. Some of my friends who took AB today had their scores not submitted and the assignment disappear which just gave me so much anxiety!! Is there like a technique of way to ensure this certain problem doesn’t happen since I am heavily thinking about taking it in June? 😳

megzcreates Also, the e-ticket is the ticket that is sent two days before the exam correct? And I just don’t click on the link that they provide and wait for the next e-ticket to be sent for June? Jannah Abdelhamid Yep, you got it in regards to the e-ticket (source is Page 7 if you want to read more apcentral.collegeboard.org/pdf/ap-testing-guide-2020.pdf ). There were various issues that people faced, so I’ll try to cover them 1. School issued laptops for some reason had issues submitting the exams, so if you can, opt to use a personal device 2. If you’re taking a photo of your response and have an iphone, change the file type from heic to jpeg. CollegeBoard will only take JPEG 3. If you have the Grammarly extension on your laptop you need to disable that 4. If you are planning to attach a file make sure it is a .doc, .pdf, .txt, .odt, or .docx. You can use Google Docs but you must download it as a file 5. If you submitted it and its still loading after times up, STAY on the screen and don’t exit. Once your screen says “Congratulations” you’re good. They will still accept it even if its loading Personally, I preferred doing the copy paste method. I typed on Google Docs and it autosaved, but didn’t need to download it as a file. That way you save time taking pictures/sending it to yourself or having to download and save a file. It prevented me from facing all of the file issues too. However, there have been sooo many various issues it can be super unexpected 🙁 I’m sorry I can’t provide a foolproof method but these methods will prevent the issues known right now
