hi y'all! with august soon approaching, it's time to start up those college applications! i'm a rising senior (s/o co2021) so i wanted to document my process with you guys. hopefully you guys can learn something from my struggles lol, and let's get into college:)

Mohamed Med So January 1st is when a lot of the regular decision deadlines are due, but I’m applying early decision/action to a few schools (Penn and MIT) so I’ll apply by November 1st for those. Everywhere else though should be by Jan 1st

@@megzcreates wait wait ! I am international so I didn't get it ..can I apply by the 1 st November? Isn't the day where the application stop .I will also apply early decision so can I apply to more than 1 university by early decision??

You can apply by November 1st (or any time before the deadline) yes, but the application never really ends, some schools will have different due dates (so the specific admissions opportunities will end for the school by a certain date, but the dates will vary). but the portal (CommonApp) is always open. You can only apply to one school Early Decision but you can apply to multiple Early Action and you can apply Early Decision and Early Action (if its not restrictive, which MIT is not) at the same time.

Also...on a technicality...you can sort of apply to two early decision schools. If you get rejected to your first early decision school, you can apply early decision 2 elsewhere
