Great Post! I was more familiar with the record labels than most of the artists and or groups. That record by Freddie Fender, HOLY ONE, was a top five record here in OKC in 1960 but was on the Imperial Record label. Again, Great Post! Larry N. Don't know if you're still on here or not; but I came across your channel. AWESOME! Don't know if you are or were from the Pittsburgh area, but a LOT of the ballads were played here. And they were in great demand. I know; because I owned a record store. So many of your ballads are collectable items. Even back in the 80's people were buying those ballads $20 & up. Terry Lee, Porky Chedwick, Mad Mike, Bob Livorio & so many others tried to out compete with unknown records. You have a BUNDLE of them. Can't wait to take my time & listen again. I had about 40K in my store & most of what you have. But I sold them in the 90's. But it's different in this day & age to see them popping up on KZbin. Your site is the best by far. Plus I DJ'ed for 32 years. That's why I know a little bit about the music.
