It filled the hospital room with a soft Hawaiian vibe and for a moment, it almost felt as if we weren't in a hospital. Almost as if she wasn't dying of cancer. This song will forever last in my mind as her memento in my life. Thankyou Stephen Hillenburg for all that you've done. You've certainly left a lasting impact on my family.

@@mrh533 I’ve seen gnomes with my own eyes. They are discrete though and hate being seen by humans. They live in forests and usually come out at night, they are very social creatures and are always sitting around a fire singing, telling stories and the like. The one I saw was very weird yet cute, he made a little giggle noise as he used some sort of magic and disappeared in front of me. I all of a sudden felt tired and woke up in the woods near a cottage, as the sunrises I felt happy, as if I had gained something. I felt like a changed man and looked inside the cottage, a note was on the table and it read “see you in the next life! Mere mortal”. I’m still not sure what that meant but I am yet to see another gnome. Sometimes I like to go into the woods at night and watch the stars and I can distantly hear that same gnome laugh and some gnomish language being spoken. Life is beautiful. You just have to find the beauty.

What’s messed up is as soon as he died the people started doing things with his show he told them he never wanted to do. One of which was a spin-off show for patrick and other characters. But the one for patrick happened shortly after his passing and look how horrible that was. I feel like they waited for him to pass away so they could change his show in some ways thinking it’ll line up their pockets. That’s why in my mind the spongebob episodes Stephen made which I believe was up to season 3 was the real spongebob show everything else after his passing is a direct corruption of his show.

I feel like SpongeBob is often remembered for being really funny, and it absolutely is hysterical, but I always loved *how* the humor was presented. Aside from just being able to make me laugh, it has such strong characters both in terms of character design and personality. It has such a distinct visual style with really vibrant, colorful, and painterly landscapes and backgrounds. The music has such a distinct feel and twang to it that just perfectly fits each mood, atmosphere, and tone. All of it is just paced perfectly too every time. If SpongeBob was only the writing it would still be great, but the fact that everything else surrounding the production and execution matches it in terms of creativity and fun it’s really special. I’m 21 years old but I can turn on anything from classic SpongeBob and I still feel like I could quote it all by heart. Really something special, and I think the cultural impact of it is really cool. Don’t have a point to saying any of this other than I think it’s neat. Thanks SpongeBob

I never realized how pretty the music in SpongeBob is, I always focus on the goofy cartoony-ness and the funny characters. A lot of cartoons actually have good music in the background if you listen closely, but not as much as SpongeBob. They put way more effort into other shows from Nickelodeon. I'm not sure if Maggie and the Ferocious Beast counts as Nickelodeon since it's a Canadian show, but the songs on that show are absolutely amazing! My favorite is the Mr. Moon song
