What other fucking work could he have done other than play the ewok or the leprechaun? Another better example would be Peter Dinklage, who has specifically tried to avoid roles that he could only land because he's a dwarf. I highly doubt he'd be okay with it if somebody asked him about it. Why should Warwick be fine with it just because that's how he became famous? Being cast in Star Wars certainly did most of that. He doesn't enjoy being 3 feet tall, and he didn't ever enjoy the fact that he could only land certain roles because of it. This is a pretty accurate reflexion about how hollywood trats dwarf people. There is no much difference from this to the biggest movies.

When Karl is under pressure or is in an uncomfortable position, he comes of with the funniest things. To this day, mainly because of An Idiot Abroad, i call Karl Pilkington the funniest man alive, some might disagree, some might agree but thats my opinion. The reason Ricky or Steve were not sent is because they've gone to different countries and embraced new cultures whilst Karl hasn't, he thinks any one who doesn't have a similar culture to the British is fascinating/weird.

I love it how Karl thinks that just because he’s there and “in the thick of it” that he’s got the better perspective.

I see both points of view. On one hand it's great they have somewhere where they can go to make money and live where it's all adapted for them, and it makes sense that they make a little community where everything caters to their needs, but on the other hand it's sad that society doesn't try to include people with different bodies and abilities more so they don't have to build a village separately and can hang around with everyone else.

How do we know they aren’t more happy living amongst other dwarfs? All of them will be in the same boat, everything will be designed for their size so it’s probably more comfortable and safety plus they won’t be making fun of each other for their height.

@@jewellui They're not a monolith. Maybe some would genuinely prefer where they're living, but the issue is that it's basically forced on all of them.

The funniest thing about this clip is when Karl says "there's a woman that I met who's a little dwarf, she's only been here 4 months and she's already got her own mushroom to live in. And you tell me that's wrong."

Karl rarely makes jokes on purpose that's what's so amazing about him. He can just be hilarious while talking about any topic just because of his wrong understanding of things. When he makes a joke on purpose you can tell he's proud of himself and tries not to laugh.
