I met Karl for one of his book signings back when these were coming out. Trust me, Karl is EXACTLY how you see him in these shows, if not funnier. I queued for over an hour, finally met him and he told me I was "fu**ing mad and that it ain't worth it to meet me" hahaha

8:34, incase no one clarifies he said, "Like Andy Pandy on crack"! Pre digital TV in the 50's & 60's in the UK, for the kids there was a puppet show called 'Andy Pandy', (maybe BBC 1or later BBC 2?). Just found it on robbos44 channel. Titled, Andy Pandy ..watch with mother full episode .first aired 16th sept 1952.. if I remember right the toys only pretended to sleep when not played with.
